Brilliant movie. It really captures the sense of danger and beauty of the sport that is so difficult to describe to someone. I know how he (Owen) feels when he says he thinks about it all the time. There is not a hill goes by that I don’t size up as a skate hill and all of us are the same. There is something deeply special about DH skating. I just wish I started earlier - didn’t step on a skateboard till 50. Learned a Coleman at 54 and now at 59 I conquer hills and my own fears and in the meantime my self. Thank you!!!!

Thank you for this film. Amazing. I’m a noob to downhill (1 year in) and looking for inspiration. Not planning to compete (other than with myself), but like climbing (which is my primary activity)-no one understands it’s not about death defying things, but pursuit of learning to achieve (elusive) perfection.

Thanks so much! Majority of this was shot on the RED Raptor and the RED Komodo. Some of the BTS moments were on the canon R5C as well, and two shots were on a GoPro. The footage we sourced was mixed media (some super 8, handycam, and miscellaneous cameras)
