You also got me to start using more than one powder on my face for different areas and purposes. 😂 I will continue to visit your memory via your videos. Luminous Silk is my favorite too, i got it as a sample a few years ago and one night out of boredoom i tried it . I never had a foundation sit so well on my skin! Even in the wrong shade, it looked natural, smooth, didn't sink in pores and most important it didn't brake out on my oily nose. Together with the Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush pressed powder i can wear it for 12 hours without being afraid of my oils , i just have to ad a bit of powder whenever it gets to shiny. Lisa Eldridge has my favorite matte formula too, i can't wait for the autumn release ! I really like Natasha Denona's matte formula and Pat McGrath's special formula, i get excited every time when they bring something out (and then get dissapointed when they hype up a rainbow but brings out the same old shades....Pat)

yes! i got the wayne goss coral rose palette when it came back in stock! i was sooo thrilled. it was all cause you raved about it long ago.. been waiting and waiting (missed the first restock). but it was worth the wait... i can't stop using it :)

That Viseart palette does look really nice, and I like the fact that it's small. I definitely prefer smaller palettes, I just don't have the space for big ones. And I have thought about trying Viseart at one point. Hmmm.... Nice video!

Wow! I am blow away! I just ordered my first Chantecaille product for the same reason...hummingbirds remind me of my mother who passed away when I was 28. For this reason I will treasure it! Glad to know it brings you happy thoughts too!

Ok, it seems I need to be getting the Armani Silk foundation (I thought I had it .... it's vanished 😱). I love these type of vids, just like the Faves vids they really sort the wheat from the chaff. Literally, only THE best from each category, how wonderful. Much love Mel, 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

I was shocked how much I love all the Chantecaille products. I like la mer and Sisley but never thought much was quite worth the price but holy cow I love every thing I have bought from Chantecaille. Thanks for the video you did with some of their products.

Actually Pat’s new huetopia palette has an orange/peachy duochrome shade. I thought it was a gold at first too. What an interesting shade when you look at closely. I think Huda should make a pressed version of her loose, it’s that good , as you know! Thanks to you , Mel, I picked it up. I even like the scent! Who you’d have thunk!? My goto foundation is Natasha's X+. It actually improves as the day goes on.

I used to only use Dinar for foundation because it's very easily customized, will wear all day long without wearing down, and best of all feels like you have nothing on your face - imagine doing your entire conceal and foundation with six drops. But that company is so poorly run I would never recommend it. Customer service ignores emails and phone calls, the last few foundation orders I made shipped "off" colors, i.e. correct names wrong shades because no one is doing quality control, and the smallest order is a $15 shipping charge which is insane, these bottles are much much smaller than traditional foundations because it's pure pigment in very little fluid and shipping should be supercheap not a profit center for a failing firm. They also change formulas and rename existing ones constantly which makes ordering stupidly confusing. I still use it when I'm out hiking because I can sweat-proof my foundation, but that company is really a disappointment. I hope one day they'll sell out to someone who will run it better to rescue the product line and put it in the hands of competent ownership and management.

When you reminded me that Becca was closing... I realized I need a dupe for their Anti-Fatigue under eye primer and under eye brightener 😭 I HATED those products initially and then learned how to use then... and cannot live without it. I have textured and tired under eyes and these save me. If you, or anyone, has a good recommendation for replacements... LET ME KNOW!!

I love the Giorgio Armani LS. I cannot get my under tones right though. I need an undertone of Goh Ken Doh 213 olive undertone. If I can get that shade in GA LS. My search will be over. If I can get that with an overtone a bit darker for the summer fall months as well... 😭 ❤️

I love when you do beauty tags. Would you say that you could use the Chantecaille pressed powder on drier skin? Does it give a glow, or is it matte. Sorry, I'm going to disagree on your lipstick choice. The favorite should be your Beauty Lipstick with Christian Audette. It's my favorite. Please do a matching gloss! My 2 favorite eyeshadow palettes, Tiny Marvels, you and Sydney Grace, and Lisa J 's BK Beauty palette. You girls rock! 🥰😘💄💄❤

Wow, I want the Viseart violette palette so badly! However pretty much every purple shade I buy makes my eyes bloodshot red 😢. Not sure what the ingredient is that does it but sydney grace is the first brand that I have been able to wear purples without having a terrible reaction that takes days to go away. Soo…I think it would be awesome if you created a sydney grace version of Violette. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Chantecaille has made the blur powder permanent now in their regular silver packaging but with a twist for this powder the packaging I mean has its own twist with the look on the top of the compact. Or at least that's the email and txt they sent me a little while bk.
