Chris, you have done almost everything you can to lighten up your ride but I don’t see ceramic bearings on the list... They are advantageous in having a longer service life, lower friction resistance, higher seizure resistance, higher corrosion resistance, higher rigidity, higher temperature resistance up to 800°C, lightweight (40% of bearing steel), non magnetic, and insulated. Seems like a great addition if you ask me.

The transitions in this edit are flawless, did Ross do this one for you too? Lots of people might criticize how you get new sleds every year, and always get bigger and better builds. But If you're riding every day, it's your source of income. You need something that is going to be reliable, and that you're going to enjoy. Keep up these videos and the hard work!

You should pick an appropriate size torx, maybe M &F, could even to a large and small...anyway if you could only carry 4 tools to basically make any adjustment or repair. That would cut down on the heaviest thing on a guy....get it out of the pack. Plus just ease of use...I’ve even thought that you could just pick the zones that you’re most likely to repair and set them up. I’m a fan of torx because of the tremendous torque you can achieve...anyway I been kicking that around since Wong’s Ti bolt kits....you can make it happen ;)

What kinda power does that 900 make over the 850?

I’ve been told the Carl’s 900 still uses a stock tune? Is this true? And if so how can the stock tune compensate for the 900 but when using the outlaw twin pipes a tune is required? Also any issues in running the 900 at sea level?

I am 17 and I have been modifying snowmobiles since I was 8 currently I’ve been working on a project to build the lightest snowmobile ever my goal is sub 300 pounds and I’m getting close everything that I can make out carbon fiber is in the process and if I got the numbers right I could be off by five pounds in each direction but I’ve estimated the final product to be 290 pounds all said and done I’m just wondering is there a such thing as too light unless your in like 6 feet of fluff climbing a hill

I ride a 2015 rmk 800 155. I am 11 and pushing my skills and limits. I am better than the adults I ride with they like to hold the throttle and go. I am technical with the throttle. I ride in Micbride bc. Got the sled brand-new for my birthday in 2018.

haha spend lots of money on decreasing weight, probably 50 of those titanium bolts saved as much weight as removing the windscreen. But the windscreen is still on. Decal kits? thats another 50-100 bolts. Replace handles on skiis etc etc. You need me Chris.
