not sure if getting brim by the 2nd floor counts as a start but it looks good in the thumbnail mwahaha

(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying tainted judas runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for month's lmao)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

Quick note: Technology+Brimstone is 1.5 damage multiplier. THICC Brimstone is a 1.2 multiplier and a damage up that overrides Technology+Brimstone. Technology+Brim does more damage than THICC brimstone unless one extra brimstone(3+Brimstones) is added.

Btw when it comes to the black heart that dropped during Mega Satan, old items with copying effects that copy nerfed items still act as they did pre-nerf. So (I forget if it's 3 Dollar Bill or Fruit Cake) you copied Serpent's Kiss, but even though it was nerfed to not drop black hearts unless it's through contact kills anymore, that item that copied it still uses its pre-nerf effect and will drop black hearts from enemies killed via the poison.

Same here 😂 and I’ve never lost a run because of it. It’s usually fairly easy to run away from a sticky bombed enemy

@@bmgoff2011 Correction, Explosivo is the one that sticks explosive tears to enemies. Fire Mind explodes upon contact and leaves a fire (similar to Bird's Eye) on the ground.

Fire mind is really a good early item . It scale badly for a end run and can kill u so it depend if ur playing a character that lack dps like magdadelle or isaac

Cool tip I found out while playing with the time machine mod, when paying using the blood dono(or paying a beggar or somthing) you don't need to keep your finger on a moment key to keep donating. IE, you will no longer accidentally grab the item when it pays out. :)

14:34 the trinket that got gulped was "NO!", the difference in appearance is that "nuh-uh" is red with a white crossed out circle, while "NO!" is white with a red crossed out circle.

The voodoo head item you ignored in the shop is actually really good. You can often get cursed rooms with 4 red chests and basically no cursed rooms are useless.

Chance to have only mobs in curse room are not none either . It's a gambling depending on ur health and generaly character without red Heart at the start need to avoid it . ( Unless the fool azazel ^^)

@@ans-dq9xh Wrong, as I said, Voodoo head buffs curse rooms. There is a 30% chance of 2 red chests, a 30% chance of 3 red chests, a 20% chance of 4 red chests, a 10% chance of 2 black hearts and a 10% chance of 2 curse room items. It is really strong. Also, he is playing as T. Judas which makes it free to enter curse rooms. Even more of a reason to get the item.

few things on that 1. just seeing an item is enough to decrement its weight to 0 when it comes to secret rooms, boss rooms, treasure rooms, angel/devil rooms, and shops. if you see items in those rooms, you’re not gonna see them again in any room for the rest of the run. that’s why you breakfast the game so quickly with glitched crown. 2. beggars, bums, and curse rooms decrement the weight by 50% since their item pools are so small (Other pools have different weighting rules you can find on the wiki but they’re fundamentally the same). this is the only time when you could justify touching an active, such as Guppy’s Head in a curse room, to remove it from the pool. but it is still vanishingly rare for such a thing to be necessary. 3. if you have glitched crown and you touch an active, the pedestal will no longer cycle when you put it back down and you’re stuck with it until you reroll it with a dice item, perthro, dice room, etc. Same goes for tainted isaac’s passive reroll ability.

This seed could have been a really good run for a bomb build. I personally like those build because the risk is higher than any build I can think of and I like seeing how certain items interact so bombs instead of tears interests me on how certain thing interact.

as a tainted judas main i immediately started malding when you entered that curse room w/o activating dark arts first edit: also why didn't you use the mystery gift in a secret room? with glitched crown/eternal d6 you had a slightly good chance to get rock bottom which would've basically meant free dmg ups because you have dark arts as a pocket active

Will you take the gift, choose sacred orb instead of sacred heart and use the gift? Nah, author take ed6 and choose heart.
