Dominique, God sent his word and healed us. Jesus is the word of GOD sent for us and who dwelt in our mist . By His stripes we are healed. As far as God is concerned, He has already healed us by the works accomplished at the cross by JESUS. Those 39 stripes received by Jesus covered every sickness known or unknown to man. Now the thing is many are ignorant of their God given rights. The Lord said my people perish due to lack of knowledge. If your friend is a born again child of God, then he has a healing convenant with God automatically.Remember Jesus said healing is the children's bread. It is that simple. The problem arises when we are unaware of what Jesus did for us. This might surprise many, whether your friend receives his healing or not at this juncture does NOT depend on GOD. It depends on whether or not he and wife will renew their mind quickly enough to receive from God freely what Jesus has already paid for. James 4:7 resist the devil and he will flee from you. Psalm 103: Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name....The Lord who forgives all your sins and heals you of ALL YOUR DISEASES. Gal 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the laws ( sicknesses.....), being made a curse for us. Tell them to meditate on the healing scriptures day and night. And tell the wife to decree over her husband the word of God day and night. They need to speak to the mountain about the word of GOD. In order words tell the cancer to die and leave his body in Jesus name....curse the root and proclaim healing despites what symptoms they may be seeing. They need to isolate themselves to only hear from believers who have or believe in the finished works of Jesus at the cross. No unbelief in their ear gates. He can get healed by simply meditating the healing word of GOD. But we don't know how long or how far is the progression so he may or may not have enough time to develop his spiritual muscles to receive on his own through the word. Remember the devil goal is to take him out asap, but he is a liar. So it makes sense to have believers with the gifts of healing pray for him also. God's best is that his people receive simply by trusting his word. But He knows there may not be enough time for some people to develop faith if they didn't know what I am saying here before and that the person will be destined to die. That is why God gave to the body of Christ the gifts of healings. The kingdom of God is like farming....seed time and harvest. You need to sow the word of GOD in season.....allow TIME to see harvest. Hope this bless you Dominique for your friends. So many are dying meanwhile Jesus already healed them 2000 years ago. Tell them to follow a minister of the word of GOD: Andrew WOMMACK... and listen to " you are already healed". Tell Him God already did his part for him, he now has to receive for the glory of God and to make Jesus proud and happy for his sacrifice for him. Example: a young girl in NY given up for dead due to sickness, read "by whose stripes you were healed"....thanked God he had already healed her and forced herself out of the bed though she was so thin/ people planning funerals....next day scan shows she has 2 new lungs. She went on to get married, have 3 children and enjoying life. The thing is whose report would you believe? Tell him he is healed in Jesus name. ( I took time to write because it is time God people knew these truths so they can stop dying and fulfill fully God's calls on their lives and not succumb to the devil scheme. Praise God. Thank you
