The new 2018 BMW X3 M40i might be the new perfect winter whip. From carrying all of my camera equipment and snowboard gear, it checks every box that I'm looking for in a roomier vehicle. Helps that it has a 355 HP twin turbo I6 and gets from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds!
