Great video guys! Try this next time you get into a HOT car: open all the windows and turn on A/C on FULL. Drive for about 1 mile and THEN close the windows. The car will cool MUCH quicker because you will have let out all the hot air and the wind from the open windows will have already started to cool the interior of the car.

Hope you enjoyed your time there in Oman in the heat 😅 Those water channels you saw are an ancient irrigation system that existed in Oman since 500 AD, and they are called falaj, and it is basically an old way to move water inside the villages and split it between farmers.

Enjoy your life and know that life is short and I advise you to watch Sheikh Othman bin Al-Farouq, Shamsi and Sajid Libhan to understand Islamic culture.. You can visit the Taif Rose Festival, which will last for a week, Jeddah Summer Festival and Abha Festival on the doors

I found that although the buildings there feel old, they are also beautiful; The house built on the stone is very special, I wonder how it was built before; The natural swimming pool is so beautiful and the water is very clear, I like it; I always thought Oman was a mysterious country, thank you for letting me see it！👍😄👏 發現那裏的建築物雖然感覺年代久遠，但也是很美； 那間建在石頭上的房間很特別，好奇當初是如何建； 那個天然的游泳池好漂亮，水也十分清澈，喜歡它； 一直覺得阿曼是個神祕的國家，謝謝讓我能看到它！

This is not the whole of Oman. It is just a small historical area and an old city that is in a modern Muscat. As for the Salalah area, it is very cold and the green mountain is more high ... I live in a city and I did not go to this place

Oman appears that it would be my favorite country in the Middle East. The landscapes are impressive and the atmosphere seems very chill.

Ah no...Oman is very hot and humid...however mid November the big heat goes away and its pleasantly cool until mid March. In the South of Oman there is Salalah, here the weather is a contsrant sub tropical 39° with pink white beaches and lots of tropical fruit trees...Also in Summer starting end of June there is Khareef season in Salalah, where the Monsoon rains travelling from India to Ethiopia pass ovef Salalah, making it overcast, rainy, green and cool all Summer until end of August. The rest of Oman during Khareef season is hot, but if a person travells high up the 2 mountains of Jabel Akhdar or Jabel Shams...then its obviously its colder high up there all year round.

I hoped you had a more time to explore Oman🇴🇲 there are many other places to visit special in summer the weather is suitable but best to visit Oman in winter from November to February. Oman is unique in terms of Terrain diversity and natural beauty. Thanks for sharing your experience it was nice to see you enjoying the trip. Waiting for your next visit to Oman. 😍

Yeah we only found out about that place at the end of our trip there, doesn’t even look real. So bizarre that there is a place that looks like that completely surrounded by dry desert

Worked at Muscat Oman year 2007, Our project was the new Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport . Nice place but you're right too hot..

You need to visit salalah, oman again in August or September, it will be during the monsoon season and it really feels like a tropical paradise with a much cooler and mistier weather than muscat. Glad you enjoyed oman 🇴🇲 as i call it arabia’s best kept secret

Khareef...which is monsoon season in Salalah starts end of June beginning July...by August to September its usually over, thats when the Sun starts shinning and the mountains get pink flowers for approx. 10days

I will suggest you to visit the city of Tabuk to see Astra farms and Tadko farms. It is called the city of roses, and it is one of the most exporting cities for roses abroad in Saudi Arabia, and it has an annual fruit festival. Among its archaeological advantages, you can visit the caves of Shuaib, the mountain, the springs, and the well of the Prophet Moses Its beaches are among the most beautiful in Saudi Arabia, including Maqna, Sharma, Duba and Umluj One of its best hotels: Royal Tulip Sharma Resort

Chris and Carol, thanks for sharing, safe travels to Dubai. You will enjoy the journey. I’ve been twice and I had a great time. There is a metro station inside the airport so getting around is easy. I took the metro to the beach area and stayed within a 10 minute walk from the beach. The airport app is very helpful. I took a bus to Abu Dhabi for the day to visit the Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre and more. Enjoy!💕

Bcz they visited Oman in summer and hot 🔥 and majority of tourists usually visit Oman in winter BUT the South of Oman 🇴🇲 in summer is cold and raining but they visited the north of Oman

My advice to you is to visit Salalah in the south of Oman. it is a very beautiful place and you will really enjoy. The best time to visit is in August.The weather is very nice there and very different from other GCC countries.

Those little fish were eating yours and Carol's dead skin. Its a treat for them. Some places in Asia allow to put your feet in a tub filled with that fish where they will nibble on your feet's dead skin and you do end up with a "fish massage". They tried doign it her in the USA but the authorities considered it "unsanitary".

yeah it was fine! The dirt road part was only like 10-15 minutes and there weren't any big holes in the road

We live in Oman, at the beach at the foot of the Hajar mountains and the sea in a gated community with a marina, golf course, restaurants etc. Our neighbours are Swiss. They live here six months of the year and they love it.
