Just done watching young royals. I just hope this season is not the ending. This show was so good and I hope they will put out season 2. So, we get better ending in season 2. Finger crossed.

The chemistry. Oh. My. God. The fkng chemistry. I was literally smiling ear to ear throughout the show. No cap. Also watching it dubbed in english was equally good because the actors themselves dubbed it. The way Wilhelm and Simon look into each others eyes. I cannot. I cannot. I've been havi g recurrent dreams about them ever since. I'll say it again. Simon's lips and wilhems eyes deserve a literal spinoff of their own.

One thing people doesn’t seem to get about Omar is that he was famous before young royals. Like he got famous more than 8 years ago, and was in Sweden’s biggest boy band so he’s been famous since a very young age, and after that he’s been a solo artist. Maybe he hasn’t been the biggest celebrity but he was my 2nd cruch after another guy in that band. Don’t know if this is important but yeah

The entire cast and crew of Young Royals are so talented. It's so refreshing to get queer representation where the person being queer isn't their whole character. It's especially cool to have some of them played by actual queer people. I can't wait for season 2.

Omar is so real, so vulnerable, so modest, so absolutely himself with a molecule of pretension. That absolutely emotionally openness is impressive beyond words to see this guy take on the complex role and cary it off without a hitch. Th act love scenes, incredible intimacy with a guy you just met at casting, to let himself embrace the role as if he is the character. Casting Omar in that role was brilliant. Omar is the character: earthy, honest to a fault, proud of his heritage and at ease in his skin, particularly as his first acting role, in front of cameras, cast, director, the make-up people, on and on, and he remains so simply honest missing a guy on set, struggling with his own personal feelings towards Edwin, and yet acting the role as himself. Bravo, bravo.

I must say Omar is nice to just watch no matter what he does or says. And the interviewer did such a great job asking good and observant questions. She sets such a calm and respectful atmosphere. LOVE YOUUU OMARRRRRR

it was literally the best show i ever watched

im so proud of omar and edvin, despite just knowing them thanks to young royals, their realness and honesty makes me feel safe, represented and comfortable. i’m latinx too, from peru, and ive never embraced it as much as im doing now thanks to omar. seeing myself on screen, in simon and in wille too (his anxiety) is just something i will always be thankful for. Hopefully someday I can meet them, thank them from the bottom of my heart 💙👑

Omar Rudberg is great in Young Royals. FO & O must be a terrific drama school, cause Felix Sandman, who also was in the boyband FO & O with Omar Rudberg, is in the Netflix serieses Quicksand and Home for Christmas. Because Omar Rudberg's hair is different than when he performed in Melodifestivalen, I spent the first half hour wondering what I had seen the young Adam Paalson look-a-little-like in before. Both Edvin Ryding and Malte Gårdinger I quickly recognized from famous Swedish police and crime dramas. But I couldn't for the life of me remember where I had seen the character of Simon's face before. I even wondered, because of his age, that maybe he could have been the little toddler who played Beck's grandson in the police drama series Beck. In the end I just had to check the cast list, and my jaw dropped when I discovered that Simon was played by Omar Rudberg, and that Young Royals was the only acting credit he had, apart from a short. The way he played the character of Simon, I assumed he had been acting for a while. Cause he and Malte Gårdinger gives the best performances of the entire cast. As much as the strength of the series is how truthful it portrays the younger characters, and their genuine personalities, motivations, and interaction with each other and the adult roles, the series greatest weakness is the soapy flavor to the drama, and the fact almost all the adult characters are shallow stereotypes. I honestly think the series would have benefitted from showing more of the behind the scenes drama between various people in authority both at the Royal Palace, as well as in the goverment and press, instead of just focusing on the teens, even if that would have meant the first season would have had to have 8 episodes, instead of 6. But don't get me wrong, the series is great as it is. It just could have been even better with two more episodes, so both the intricate political manouvering certain developments would have caused in real life could be addressed and explored more in depth, and so the adult characters had been depicted less stereotypical and predictabel. They have been given very little screentime. And despite being played by some of Sweden's most used and esteemed actors and actresses, mostly functions as glorified extras.

This is just getting better and better Omar has the best music taste that's literally my music taste I absolutely love those artists plus that also really love his music I've been listening to it non stop I loved this interview!!

Hope they have a season 2

Ridiculous ! Watched both seasons binging twice. The acting , the storyline , directing , cinematography , everything top notch. Hope this goes for many , many more seasons. My hope is that no one gets selfish or lazy. This deserves each person giving their best. So excited for more.
