Awesome! is the Petzl SOS solely for professional use only? i am a big wall climb climber and always on the look out for equipment containing multiple applications. is it available for to anyone?

As far as I can tell it's assembled from Petzl off-the-shelf parts you can get on Amazon or any other store selling climbing gear. It's just packaged in a well thought out manner and lacks the flashy coloring scheme of their civilian gear
