I completely agree with this entire video, once again, you nailed it. My only criticism is of your emphasis on Netero's "That thing is stronger than I am" line. That line does not indicate (at least to me) that Netero thinks he'd lose to Pitou in a fight. If he thought that, he wouldn't have even tried to 1v1 Meruem, rose or not. In my opinion, he was only analyzing Pitou's aura or raw power, which surpassed his. I also think it's a little disingenuous to say that Netero COULDN'T hurt Pitou with his attack, simply because he didn't. He seems to indicate pretty clearly that his intention was to launch Pitou away, not kill them.

I’ve watched a couple “troupe vs guard” vids, and this one is definitely the best I’ve seen. It’s insanely in depth and debunks the hell out of the theory-crafting I wanna add something: if Netero could barely take Meruem… how the fuck couple the troupe take the guard😭 Arguably THAT guy vs THAT ant, and he had to nuke-no-jutsu.

Not sure why Pouf is considered the physical weakest in the Royal Guard since he is a manipulator and manipulators have greater affinity for enhancement.

Every member of the Troupe gets the Kite treatment. I think Neferpitou solos. I'm trying to think, who could damage them and who could dodge a strike or survive one hit. I think the Troupe could find a way to beat Youpi or Poof solo but Pitou is too OP.

obv this vid was awhile ago but I think alot of the statements about phantom troops are being taken as literal fact while overlooking their actual onscreen feat. Like yeah Franklin and machi both said they'd kill hisoka but in do way do I think that that actually makes them relative. Nobunaga was sparring franklin but he also a twink and was brawling with hands (not his sword)

The scaling gets pretty crazy later on. The phantom trope used to be impressive back when gon and killua FIRST learn nen but afterwards they’re pitiful.

I'd say the troupe actually has a chance to win with prep time, it's really cheesy tho (scenario like palace invasion without king). they prepare by getting soldier squadron leaders/officers, pakunoda gets memories for layout of the palace, gives bullets with memories to hisoka, chrollo, illumi. In the invasion they start with distractions to at least give some seconds to the important people. Illumi prepares army with chrollo explosion marks. All of troupe except for chrollo, phinks and feitan hide between them and sacrifice themselves. shalnark goes autopilot, hisoka uses bungee gum on all walls and rubble to give weaker members small speed boost (like in gotoh fight with himself and coins). chrollo feitan phinks also hide, on the way there they torture feitan to the brink of death and phinks winds up a ridiculous amount of times. chrollo teleports them in a way so they can hit their abilities (which is debatable cause guards have insane reaction time, all depends on if they manage the timing right and the distractions give them the few seconds to get 1 hit in). feitan goes on pitou cause youpi could maybe adapt to him. phinks one shots youpi with 1000x wind up. troupe would die too from feitans ability. Pouf survives but parts up. Uvo and illumi wait outside. Depends on if uvo and illumi can finish off whatever part of pouf that's left. Does someone also believe it could be pulled of like this? Although it's still unsure cause we got no concrete limits to feitan and phinks hatsu

You're being disingenuous. Nobody thinks 1v1 they're going to beat the royal guards. But if characters like Knuckle and Killua were able to hang in there as long as they did. Then, a good portion of the troupe should be able to as well. They do have abilities that could potentially hurt the Royal Gaurds. Knuckle almost won with his ability, so it shouldn't be that surprising if one of the most strategic minds we've seen in the series could think of a way to beat a Royal Guard.

Basically what if netero and the twelve zodiacs were to face the chimeras . you can leave ging and peraston out . just bring morel and knov into the matter

I don't think anyone thinks they are stronger, the only reason I think they have a chance is the same reason knuckle, Shalnark, and other low tier guys held on for so long. The ants lack experience. They learn and adapt, but the reason knuckle lasts so long against youpi is because youpi is probably the least tactful of them... he adapts and realizes that and almost killed knuckle by pretending to be angry, but I'm just saying the ants lack of experience is what allowed the humans to live for so long. And most notably, Hisoka and Chrollo are masters of tact, I could see either of them being a major problem...at least until they hit Pitou or the butterfly. They are smart.

I have never heard so dumb arguments. Yeah Meruem could easily kill the penguin and the turtle but not all squadron leaders were equally in strenght. Kite killed like 20 of them with one hit. Also Zazan transformed seemed really strong and the transformation looked like its Intention was to get a thicker skin. So the comparison between Zazan and the other squadleaders makes no sense. Also Knuckle, Shoot and Mereleon would have won against Youpi if Knuckle just let morel die. And Morel wasn’t really a Big help for the fight because he was at like 30% of his power when they started the invasion and after „fighting“ with pouf and losing his pipe he was maybe at like 10% power. And Killua has helped knuckle but if it wasn’t for Shoot pride knuckle wouldnt even got in the Situation to need help from Killua. And knuckle was able to leave a imprint on youpi with his bare fist with some nen and he isn’t even an enhancer. So Punch from Uvogin or Phinks would be good damage. That should also prove that the Needle from either Shalnark or Illumi would get through youpis skin and Most likely the same with pitou and shaiapouf. Also the strongest attack we saw from the Guard was youpis explosion which wasn’t really bigger than the one Uvogin made from his Big Bang Impact or Bonolenovs Jupiter. Most of the time you dont compare the troupe to the guards. Its just bullshit. And comparing chettu with Youpi also doesnt make any sense because chettu is meant to be fast and youpi is meant to be strong ofcourse theres a big difference in strenght. Your whole comparison just makes no sense. Shit video.

To be fair when Netero sayed Peto is stronger then him he was just jokeing. What he really ment by that is that the royal guards would gave him a tuff time. 1 on 1 he would kill them.

Before anything else i would like to say mockery (which you seem to use some in this video) is an argumental fallacy. RG don't have nen abilities for combat(except yuupi). Chrollo with prep time should be able to hold 1v1 for some time(he held his ground 1v2 against zeno and silva), phinks having enough time can potentially one shot anyone so the question is, can all the others hold off 2 of the RG? i would say yes, RG does mostly underestimate their opponents and lack experiance, so prob woudnt go all out one-shoting troupe as fast as possible at the start. Troupe is at disadvantage in raw power but they do have decent chance to win Edit: you kinda brushed off the cloak when zeno has a lot of experience, i think RG in their cockyness wouldn't see it as a threat(maybe pitou's senses might), using netero's wondering if he could even beat pitou is bit of a stretch and making puppets is not usable ability in combat since she needs to focus on the ability and stay on the spot to use it

You are putting squadron leaders in the same tier on fighting terms. U forget that meleoron is on the same tier as squadron leader as cheetu, zanzan and leol. Even leol and zanzan maybe arent comparable on 1v1. Zanzan clearly tends a to a fighting and is possibly among the strongest squadron leaders. You do everything by association, like if x , so y. If he cant pierce zanzan carapace, so he cant pitou. Ofc i bet pitous carapace is hard af and cant be pierced, but its not concrete. The king one shotted peggy, a squadron leader who have even less feats than meleoron and is possibly not even a fighting nen user. By that logic, killuas dad one shots zanzan too, right? Since he one shotted cheetu. Both zanzan and cheetu are squadron leaders. Think about possible ways one can overcome a stronger being instead of just raw power. Knuckles ability is possibly trash on 1v1 against most strong beings, but its a fucking good win condition against youpi, one of the strongest beings. You got to think about the possibilities and dont fall into falacies.

That shit isn’t always enough to win you a fight in HxH because of ppls nen abilities and hax. Spiders are heavily skill in nen, masters of combat and tactics, and amazing nen abilities. All that shit goes a long way against “speed blitz and one hit kill” that y’all love to say😂. Not saying it’s going to be easy but if Gon, killua, morel, knuckle, and shoot can 3v5 the Royal guards and survive I think the troupe can 3v12 and win.

This is about what I thought but I was really hoping for some rat argument lol.

To go over some points: No, Netero would never lose against Pitou, he never thought he would, that's just... No. Netero is a massive troll, and he said what he did because he wanted to stall until Meruem was born. This is the guy who created the entire hunter association just to get a decent opponent, and put the biggest slimeball in the association as his #2 because he wanted to get trolled himself. As for Pitou not being damaged by the Guanyin, I'll go ahead and explain some of how it can be inferred to work. Netero spends zero aura when he attacks with the Guanyin. We know this because he was confident he could outlast Meruem, despite knowing that his aura reserves were much, much smaller, and the fact that it's directly stated he put every drop of aura into zero hand. He conjures his statue, and manipulates it (that's 60% efficiency, btw), but doesn't actually imbue the attacks with aura, they're purely physical. The attack is meant to keep opponents at a distance, knock them around, and wear them down to the point he can one-shot them with zero hand. If Netero had fought Pitou right when he saw them, (regardless of whether he prepared zero hand ahead of time; Pitou isn't smart enough to find a weakness in Netero's defenses), he'd have won handily. As for Phinks, you're right, but I also want to go into it a bit. People no-limits fallacy Phinks constantly, and it really bugs me. His attack is the same type as Ja-Janken, a Ko that builds up over time for a devastating hit. It's really nothing special, and there's no way he'd be able to actually land a hit on a Royal Guard, even if he could theoretically put all of his reserves into one punch capable of seriously wounding a royal guard. Also, the databooks aren't cannon. They were written by the editors and aren't generally reliable. Even if they were, "X/5" is way too vague to be useful in a power range this broad, and using them as a cornerstone for your argument really weakens it. Could the troupe beat the Royal Guard? Maybe. Assuming Fun-fun cloth works on one of the guards (and can't be broken out of with a large amount of Aura like other conjuration techniques like Cheetu's), and Feitan is able to take a glancing blow that only puts him near-death to get a retaliation strong enough to kill another, it's definitely doable if the remaining one is Pouf, since Pouf doesn't even have enough direct offense to take out Morel. My guess is that if the Troupe actually went against the Royal guard, Chrollo would grab an ability similar to Taboo from YuYu Hakusho (assuming he doesn't have one available already), that one-shots or disables anyone who violates the terms of the ability, regardless of their power. They've got good instincts, but word games would catch all of them but Pouf lacking, and Pouf is pretty easy to take out with a low-power rising sun if he's in particle form. Uvogien has enough physical power to at least keep them occupied for a while, especially with the other troupe members doing stuff (being hit with Benolenov's Jupiter wouldn't kill any of the royal guards, but it would and while shalnark getting a needle in one of them is unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised if they were careless enough with Ko for it to be possible. I'd say the troupe wins 3/10 times with no prep, 1/10 if they don't know anything about the situation, or 6/10 if they have a couple weeks to prepare.

First of all, you're taking information from a databook what wasn't written by Togashi and gives bad stuff. Killua? Equal stats with Chrollo? Ridiculously. He's only stat above may be speed. The rest? Low af. Netero was humble btw. He also compared Knov with him 😂 Why didn't you precised this? Of course it wouldn't make sense, but you could take his humble moment of giving credit to Pitou, but when it came in practice, Netero literally slapped Pitou kms away instantly. The difference is actually big, and what i m saying is that, Netero is levels above. In fact Netero kinda shocked Meruem. Yes the Troupe definitely lose this. Pitou Youpi and Pouf are too much together. But...the downplay is hard af.. Cheetu, trained by Pitou and Youpi, got one shoted by Silva's punch. The same Silva punched Chrollo and did 0 damage. Pitou activated all his 6 senses full out, the moment he felt Zeno's aura btw. The same Zeno who had Silva around to kill Chrollo. Definitely, you're downplaying A LOT some aspects there. I either don't care if you only bring aspects to overrate actually the royal guard. Knuckles and Shoot are FAR INFERIORS to some members troupe. And as i said let that delusional databook away. It's been confirmed already for so many years that are clowny informations there. You can't be that sick to believe Killua and Gon scales that high. Ah and btw, pain packer doesn't reflect the damage back, but emitte the amount of damage you gave to Feitan (pain packer being stated to be versatile, literally).
