Love the phat master blade as a barber who relies heavily detachable blades. I quit using it about last year because my last phat master blade was final a bit dull. I will most definitely be ordering a new one when possible. This with the og half guard coming back has definitely shown andis in a positive light for the barbers who’ve been in the game since before all this Chinese white label clipper era. I’m still using my original fast feeds and masters from 2012 nothing competes if you do a lot of volume.

I got the metal blur blade and it is a game changer. I will definitely get the phat master for my my Rebels since they already have the holes for a Master's blade.

I've been using the phat blade since I started cutting hair. From what I've seen, they're going to have one for the corded Master and one for the cordless Master and I'm not sure what the difference is going to be but I'm very excited about it. I think I'm going to go with the revite and the filthy blends bracket like your did so that I can put it on something other than the cordless Master. Although as long as you keep the little plastic parts changed out when it gets loud it will stay super quiet and cut well but looking for something a little different.

I think they will be sold separately because the cutting blade has a different cam follower for both. The fat blade will be the same, but the cutting blade will not.

Always want to give this a try. Local blade sharpening shop sells these. Didn’t want to get it because I was retiring my old masters. They just felt like bricks, don’t like the cord, gets too hot, and it can’t handle clients with thick hair.

@@thewoodshedbarber I haven’t. Base on the research, it’s just another rotary clipper with loud rattling issues. If they made it back to magnetic and stays quiet longer; I’ll definitely buy it mainly because they have the best guards.

So in this context anything under a two is handled with precision steel and the only guard I’ll need is that OG purple 0 guard

You don’t really need any guard bigger than a 1 , 1.5 blends in using clipper over comb fairly easy, and so many clippers already come with a stretch bracket and 5 clicks. Does not seem very useful since it doesn’t start at that bald line. I can usually do blade, 1, comb done only sometimes that half is needed on a spot here and there but raiding should not take so many steps imo.

Happy Mardi Gras! Would you be able to put together an at home barber video? I fade my own hair and my technique is hit and miss. Would love to see some tools I don’t know about to help me fade. Currently using wahl seniors with a magic clip blade. Tempted to get detachables though, especially for the bulk on the top

I've never tried the phat blade, but if it truly cuts like a detachable blade, I absolutely need one. The Octane with a extra battery and 4 more blades (1a, 1 1/2, 2, 3 1/2) add up to just shy of $800 (here in Canada) no matter how hard I try, I can't justify that price. A phat blade would be SOOOO much cheaper. Do you think with the wahl filthy blends bracket, it'll fit on any tpob clippers, Troll, X, XO ?
