Almost a third of Filipinos work on farms, but most of them earn very little. Many leave the countryside and end up in urban slums. Rural development programs seek to slow or reverse that trend. Cherrie Atilano runs a farm for former slum-dwellers.
At 'Enchanted Farm', each family has a house with running water and electricity. The adults learn new skills, and the children go to school.

Why is almost very documentary about the Phps. about the poverty, never about the have's show live in splendor, in nice neighborhoods, drive find cars, eat in fancy restuarant. I will tell you why. They do not want you thinking about them, only about the Phps being a poor country...just like Mexico or India...there are plenty of well off people that are invisible by calculation...

+Will Hart That's because they feel guilty about taking advantage from the poor, the well off do not show their homes and money in youtube videos nor do they show their business. It's the same everywhere in the world.

It's so the Aid from other countries doesn't slow, otherwise they would be the ones who the people would look to for money.

This documentary isn't about poverty or trying to slander the Philippines as a poor country. The Philippines is a poor country by the way. But this documentary is about some great people doing something great to help others in need. Some people who want to lead the way and help those who could use some help. To complain about this documentary is very odd indeed.
