A Very Poignant Scene And Wonderful Music

I remember when I was stationed in Mannheim Germany (3 1/2 years) the civilians told me Hitler ordered them NOT to destroy,deface,nor damage art, artifacts, nor anything with art,science, or historical significance. If this scene is typical of that, then the pianist is REALLY playing for it's LIFE. This order was given to the German soldiers just before they began their first assault.
