If I paid that much IN ADVANCE and 1, the person who I booked said they was coming and don’t show up or call for hours, then some stranger came a knocking, i wouldn’t even let them in, cuz they could be a serial killer, and come to find out, she murdered her face, ON HER BDAY?!? When I booked an appointment for a tattoo artist I had to do a deposit and the artist couldn’t make it to an appointment and messaged me right away that day that they couldn’t make it and planned my deposit return, not send another artist to come in place. If I wanted them to do my service I wanted them specifically to service me!! I’m not sitting here and hoping the person you trained or subbing in for you!!!

If you are going to have a business and there are going to be emergencies when you cannot show up, then you should ask the person who booked you in the first place that your assistant will take your place upon your absence. And if the customer agrees to that, show the assistant’s work over the past 2 years they’ve been working with you. They’ve only seen your work, they are paying for YOUR work, not your assistant’s work. Common sense has left the chat.
