......and you're doing all this scrubbing why? Honey go get a can of Easy Off heavy duty oven cleaner spray. Do not get the fume free because it isn't strong enough. Put some newspaper down on your patio and spray any pots and pans outside with the oven cleaner spray so the fumes stay out of your house. Walk away for an hour. Return with a few paper towels and simply wipe away the gunk. Take the pots inside and wash. If the gunk on the pots are burned and caked on let the spray stay on the pots for 2-3 hours. Your pots will look brand new. You're welcome!

Tried pink stuff on a similair pan, did jack shit, next time i'll wet in before applying the paste.

BKF actually recommends to NOT leave their product sitting for more than 1 minute

A Dremel and a copper wire brush wheel or a steel wire brush wheel will take that stuff right off. If you have a cordless drill they make wire brush attachment heads for them as well and those will scrape more off at once b/c its a larger wheel. Another Dremel attachment head that works really well on that kind of stuff is called an "abrasive wheel" or "abrasive buffing wheel." It looks like a wad of brillo like material in the shape of a donut but its packed with abrasive grit and when the Dremel spins its basically cutting the stuff off physically but doesn't deform the steel at all. A Dremel wire brush wheel will also remove hair dye stains from vinyl showers. Just spritz with a little water and it scrapes it right off without scarring the vinyl of the bath tub/shower.

Bar keepers friend sat with water though that whole five mins, it wasn’t kept dry while cleaning the other side so I think this would have to be redone and leaving the other side alone till it’s time to clean that side would yield truer results

For barkeeper's friend, i wet it to make a paste (like mist it with water). Putting it on dry is kinda a waste.

You didn't use the Bar Keepers Friend correctly. Never leave it sit. Never. Read the directions and follow exactly. You have to start with a wet pan. You only use for one minute. You may need to do the process twice.

the pan is broken on the frying side already. I wouldn't bother to clean it. I'd buy a new one and won't use metal in it next time.

Maybe next time don't put the bar keeps on until after you use the pink stuff so it be more close to same on sitting time. In this video bar keeper was sitting longer on pan than the pink stuff

You're not supposed to leave BKF leaving on a surface for 20 minutes. Scrub within 1 minute for the best results.
