Well now, new David Gilmour! and the first release from his new upcoming album to be released this September. As I was listening to it yesterday, my first impression was that it was one of those slow acoustic pastoral sounding numbers that he's somewhat fond of. I figured, oh well, this doesn't sound like it's going to have a guitar solo. Then bam, right at the end, a minute and a half long solo kicks in. bliss! haha. Knew I had to sit down and learn it right away.
Now as there's no backing track yet to this one, I had to make my own, so it's not going to sound perfect, and it's also a little bit fast, however it sounds ok I guess for a homemade track.

It sounds like David Gilmour is being very original while staying true to his style. One of the greats indeed. And leave it to KDA to turn around an awesome cover of DG's latest in no time!

Thanks Anthony! Soon as I heard it, grabbed the guitar and got to work. About 2 hours later I had it memorized and under my fingers. Then I had to sit down and create my own backing track. That took the most work, haha.
