This is an amazing update to an already amazing invention. I especially like this because I enjoy warming up listening to my drones. This will make the switching much easier, and safer for my chanter reed.

It looks like it, but does this open up possibilities to use this with tied in bags now (like hide and sheepskin)?

Exactly. This fits any bag. The top unit is exactly like any chanter stock. The bottom unit fits onto the top of your chanter and houses the PG.
