The Pittsburgh Steelers are not what anyone thinks and there are rumors that are slowly starting to heat up about a potential super star being traded to them, that im gonna talk all about, but even if nothing happens, I still think the steelers are set up to have a crazy season in 2024, so in the video im gonna talk about everything going on with this team with OTAs and minicamps over, what we learned from them, and everything else.
Alright so starting off with the trade rumors i was talking about, the guy that has been involved with rumors that are starting to heat up is Brandon Aiyuk, he's been a guy that been involved with trade talks for a while now with the 9iners still not extending him, and he even took the 49ers out of his social media bio. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the trade market has ramped up in recent days and we could see a trade in the days to come. This is what Fowler had to say. The 49ers had some trade opportunities around the draft and I think there are other teams that are willing to pay Aiyuk what he wants, I do believe that, maybe not for a First round pick, but I think they would do it under certain circumstances, and Fowler isn't the only one reporting this either, when it comes to more of a Steelers perspective the guys from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette had this to say about the Steelers interest in the San Francisco wide receiver, “there are legs to this, I had a source within the Steelers tell me this back in March that this was a thing and that there was some interest in Brandon Aiyuk”

I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t have to overbuy for him. He’s had one great year. If he came here and continued to improve, then he’d absolutely be worth paying.

@@lb2195 no receiver being paid top 10 receiver money has won the super bowl in almost 10 years. wr are not worth locking up on big contracts and sacrificing talent at other positions

Russ’s athleticism is still very much top-10 in the league. Fields has a slight advantage in athleticism and no other advantages. That isn’t nearly enough to compensate for the advantages Russ holds over Fields. Despite being smaller by comparison, Russ still throws over the middle better than Fields does and is more durable. People are going to be surprised at how well Russ throws over the middle.

I think Russel has a new outlook . He believes this is his chance to prove he deserves to be in hall of fame . He's working harder than he ever has. He wants to win a Superbowl or two here in Pittsburgh. With team support around him, he can play at Superbowl caliber q.b.

Its not crazy to say the players dont make enough, the players are the NFL. You can replace everything, stadiums,uniforms, cheerleaders,owners, and even fans…..you cannot replace the players, without the best football players in the world you only have XFL or USL or some off brand league. These guys will never be the same after playing all the football it takes just to get to the NFL, after a season or two these guys are in a state of healing most of the time. The neurological damage is something that cant be measured in dollars so im in agreement with the idea that eventually the seasons will have to be shortened not made longer or teams are gonna have to employ multiple teams worth of players to keep these guys available for the playoffs. This greed by owners is going to be the downfall of the sport, when people start deciding the impact on the majority of your life isnt worth league minimum. Thats my opinion, but I do have some bias that makes me lean towards the players side

Aiyuk is interested in any team willing to pay him, I like him alot but he wants 30 million a season and a 1st round pick, that's a pretty steep price to pay when eventually we have to pay a QB and George Pickens, we got Pickens, let's feature him and see if he's ready and keep our 1st round pick for a dynamic WR in the draft

We went to the playoffs without a quarterback , so now I know we are going DEEP into the playoffs after we get Mahomes . We coming with a great roster.

Steelers don't need anymore egos on the team. The coach let players mutiny last year to the point Omar had to take over the draft. Stop grabbing players and spend that money on coaches and analysts.

No to Aiyuk. He'll require way too much money and the Steelers have a lot of good players that they will need to re-sign next offseason. They should still look to trade for Courtland Sutton or Treylon Burks

I think we should trade for DK Metcalf. Those two of oregon had great success and chemistry together on the field. Russell Wilson Isn't a deep pocket passer? We need a guy who can catch a fifteen yards pass and make a play for more yards afterward. I'll be ready to trade a second round. Pick and calvin austin to Seattle to exchange for DK Metcalf

How can you say this when J. Fields didn’t have an offensive line? You really don’t know what he can do. The man won 7 games for us bears fans. 3 of his losses were a dropped game winning Td pass, and 2 late 4th quarter losses where the defense failed him. Don’t forget he missed 2 or 3 games to injury. Pittsburgh has a prize in J. Fields, trust me you guys have no idea what Jewel of a player he is.

the nfl or my Steelers doesn't need another QB who is better suited for the track team instead oof the cerebral game of an nfl QB. give me a t.brady, manning or Montana over a Vick , Jackson or kaepernick any day of the week. stop waisting the Steelers draft capital . 1st Diontae Johns had to go. He quit on the team during a game. He showed poor mental gamesmanship during games that are morale killers. Immaturity cannot be tolerated when you are paid leadership type money. He was also affecting others with his antics (#14 Pickens) with his influence. He had to go. This move created the WR #2 hole. but as much a head case Johnson was. The silver lining is Austin... He is a true #2a. Just give him a chance. Aiyuk NO NO NO ... Sutton Yes Yes Yes...... less money going out less draft capital going out , less potential attitude.. with Sutton & Austin combined you get more more heart and production and a solid uptick . The steelers will arrive at the 1st Baltimore game undefeated . cbs The only two games they lose this year are too the Ravens 2nd game and the Chiefs. Then they roll through the playoffs. They beat SanFran in SUPE 34 - 27 Wilson Supe MVP Pickens 1,800+ rec yards 112 rec , Najee 1,068 rush yards 11 td , Warren 1,237 rush yards 5 td austin 56 rec 650 yards Sutton 79 rec 899 yards deadliest will be the rookie slot Roman from Big Blue.... offense will be prolific . ( The whole defense goes to jail on a 20 year bid for mass carnage ) they allow ave 14 points per game TRICE has 5 int because they dont throw at Joey.. Russ has a chip on his shoulder.... so does Pickens....

The Steelers could make the playoffs with any one of 30 QBs, but they will never win a playoff game with Russell Wilson at QB. People want to blame two really good coaches for Wilson's mediocre showings. (over 5 years now) Sean Payton and Pete Carroll are not that stupid.

@@litobrigante1413 Wilson or Fields need to step up.. otherwise it will be a rough year for them.. the offense was terrible for the Steelers last year, but Afc North always has tough teams.. especially in division games
