Hi CK, Could you please cross check the English name of Okanta tree for us? I suspect its not Acacia. This is because, I use Acacia quite often when treating myself for malaria. Unless its a different specie of acacia I'm not aware of, Acacia has no properties anywhere close to ginger and does not have spikes on it as well, as he is describing. Please let him show us a picture of the Okanta tree the next time you interview him.
