Need to redo the intercooler parts and swap to Wiggins clamps after all the coupler issues you had. The Wiggins are way better for race applications

Nothing wrong with properly bead rolled pipes and silicone. I've never had a pipe blow off in 20 years. He must either have no beads on there or 50 cent clamps.

@@claudegreengrass5629 they were using constant tension clamps and kept having issues. Regardless of your experience with as much trouble as tommy had at grid life it's completely worth it to swap to Wiggins to keep it from happening. It's doubtful that ma performance didn't bead roll the new pipes. They know their stuff. A track car is about seat time and Wiggins will do just that. Keep him on track in the seat vs fixing rubber couplers as often.

@@ryanlott6309 the first day he said he was going to have to get some constant tension clamps so one would think he didn't have them when they were blowing off. But regardless of what clamps you have if the pipes aren't rolled properly or you have an oil film in your charge pipes you're going to have problems. I was just stating to the original post that Wiggins aren't necessary. Yeah they look good and make it easier to work on but they would want to for tue price.

@@claudegreengrass5629 clearly price isn't an issue for Tommy. Originally no not sure what clamps but he sent someone to the shop for constant tension clamps. It's possible the pipes are not rolled enough but at the ho level he's running or eliminate rubber coupler failures and just run Wiggins to stay on track more with less potential boost loss issues with blown couplers.

Tommy you should purchase a full blown R35 Nismo and store it. Have every Nismo option available and as the years go by you will see how the value goes up and now you will have the chance to get all the Nismo parts that will eventually go extremely high in price and become unavailable.

The 6 and 6.5 lower arms and hubs are different. You can tell the difference by the lower arm ezy, either it has a press in balljoint or a 3 bolt , bolt on balljoint .

I wish your shop floor was green tbh The other issue with electric power steering on the column is the rack still has a torsion bar for hydraulic power steering to work.

Loose bolts are not common. If they were dealerships would be in trouble. Torque it right and use loctite makes thing stay tight
