It's cool that you can see resemblances of Doom maps in other maps. As some people have already pointed out, a few areas in this map look like they came straight out of Doom 2's "Entryway."

Brother! 'twas not an easy task, however I am happy to announce I have prevailed in the fight against the forces of evil of this map. Through a sea of raging cyberdemons, vicious archfiles and maniacal mancubines I stood my ground and fought and fought bravely until the end. All bloodied and bruised I ended up, yet I conquered!.....having said that, in a less poetic way lemme add, Fuck it!! I saved my progress after I killed each wave of enemies, every time I passed a hard part I kept saving, that saved a lot of stress man!! It was fun as hell though, the most difficult map I have ever played in Doom myself he he.

I was trying to beat this map on doom and on my 8th attempt I gave up, I always looked at your doom gameplays for inspiration, and after looking at this and doing my 9th attempt, I did it 100% on ultra violence, thank you for this video for inspiration to help me beat Go 2 It.

Hi Jeff. This is the first slaughter map of an official doom game I think but still one of the best and fair ones. You did an awesome job here and this video is still a highlight after all these years. Real Quality never lose its value. Speaking of slaughter maps with class. The best I've ever played was just recently. It's map 12 of Dying Camels Demons #1 temple of the thirteen signs and it is made by altimamantoid. This map is brilliant in design and gameplay. i enjoyed this gameplay of yours the most.

I played at HMP difficulty and gosh this level seems amusing but also at the same time such a pain in the ass and frustrating especially when it comes to fight the cyberdemons at the end of the level! I spent about an hour and twenty minutes so on this level. Archviles keep resurrecting them omg and I do hate Lost Souls/Pain Elemental too! It's like they're laughing at me -_- but there's a chance I'll replay this level. Entertaining as always, you rock BigMacDavis 🔥

Hey BMD! I hope you're doing well lately. I finally had a chance to play through this map myself, and I found an interesting strategy for the final arena. If you can get all three Cyberdemons distracted by the Barons of Hell, you can rush each one of them with the BFG in turn, which is MUCH easier than trying to take down all three of them at once after all the Barons are dead. I was even able to two-shot kill two of the three Cyberdemons because of how close I got. You might want to try out for yourself the next time you play this map. Looking forward to more awesome content!

608 monsters! That's the most I've seen in any single officially released ID Doom map! 13 Cyberdemons, 1 Spider Mastermind, and the rest are Arachnatrons, Arch-Viles, Mancubi, Pain Elementals, Revenants, Chaingunners and Demons! I felt lots of pain throughout the entire video, and 17 attempts is still quite a lot to do to finish this map without any save states! I applaud you for doing so without any save states!

I get the feeling that Hell never would have been able to conquer Earth in Doom II without Archviles to keep resurrecting their moronic infighting army.
