A busy day with the visit of "The Poachers", a group from Lincoln, they always bring with them plenty of locos. You will see a variety of different class models, needless to say... it is three quarters of an hour of trains running round the wonderful Leamington Spa.
Hope you all enjoy the video.
The next video will be some self indulgence, will explain more at the time.

The great thing about videos like this is anyone, who like me is just passing can see them and stop and enjoy the beauty and as long as they are here the enjoyment is limitless.

Fantastic clip Dave well done in the edit too, I hit the like button in the first five minutes, I would really love to see this layout one day I would be like a kid in a candy shop.. Totally enjoyed watching thanks for sharing ..

Great video Dave like the galvanised fencing around the allotments and the iron bridge the detail is epic some great shots like the one with the country lane and bridge withe the old car ,it gets better each time cheers Kevin

If I am right about the `old` car you spotted, well that is a model of Ivo Peters Bentley. You know, I have filmed nearly every inch of the layout now, and it is now getting more difficult to come up with new locations...and different angles, but I DO try. Pleased you liked the video, and thank you for your continued support.

Many thanks for your kind remarks, I love doing the video editing....nearly as much as the filming. I have some more film of the station (did you see the discussion with PW and others?). Well you ought to see what they have done. All in the next video.

A very enjoyable vid!! As a shunter fan i loved the pair of 08's stabled, i think there needs to b mor shunter action at Leamington Spa?! A lovely set of locos on display!! Many thanx for sharing :)

Magnificent Dave...I'm starting to run out of superlatives both for the layout and your ability to portray it so well. The Poachers visits are always very welcome to see and certainly a good variety of stock. One thing saddens me though...such a wonderful layout but no chance of ever visiting it! I wonder on reflection if it ever crossed Pete's mind just how good it would have been to have built this in the fashion of Pendon so we could all have seen it in the flesh. However your vids are good enough to lose oneself for a while amnd imagine.......... Cheers Bob

Great video Dave I take it you have to squeeze into places to film some of the scenes,how many are in the poachers group mate they certainly bring some great models with them. Liked how you filmed in colour then black and white. Cheers Kev

I don't know officially how many of the Poachers there are, but around half a dozen turn up at Pete Watermans. They have been visiting for a few years now. You are quite right about squeezing in to tight place, and crawling under the boards as well....but I hope it is worth it! Thank you once again for your comment.
