Kylie your cake looks so delicious. I am a 76years old lady from Toronto Ontario Canada. Never taught of putting olive oil in Any of my cake. But will do now. I always have extra virgin oil In my house. Can't wait to bake a cake. Kylie my grandma my dad mom Was Italian. I never met her. She pass away when I was around 2years old. I wish I would of met her. My dad married a French lady. His mom to married a French man. So my dad is 1/2 Italian and 1/2 French. We always eat Italian food in my house has I was growing up. My dad was such a good cook I hand up marrying a Jewish man Our food in our home Is mainly Italian and jewish food My grandma name was LOUISA Daprato. She was from Barga Luca in Tuscany I just enjoy your videos so much If u could give the recipe of all your cake u made I want to write down And make it for my kids and grandkids. I just made this cake for my husband, it was fun getting lost in the process with some nice music in the background! I substituted the flour for gluten-free and it came out absolutely decadent and moist! (For those interested I used Pamelas Gluten Free All Purpose Flour as it doesn’t have any weird taste / texture like King Arthur does). I made this recipe today as a early Valentine’s Day celebration for my husband and his family and they were all drooling.
