My camera is a canon vixia hf r700 and my mic is a Rode lav mic plugged into a zoom h1 recorder.

So you have to plug the mic into a recorder to get it to record? And which Rode lav mic? Thank you for your help.

@@ejwebs6631 I honestly don't remember which lav mic of Rode's it was. It was a few years ago and it was around $80 then. It plugs into the recorder and you hit record from the recorder.

Just wanted to thank you guys for telling me about ccgcastle. I ordered some stuff for my Pikarom deck and I just got them yesterday. They were in great condition, and came with some sleeves. That's perfectly fine, I think. Leonhart even uses his phone as his pack cam still. Just make sure it's stabilized to avoid shaky footage :-)
