This is a hidden gem on a rather uneven second side of the album. When I was 11 I got a ghetto blaster for my birthday and a double tape Outlandos d'Amour and Regatta de Blanc. I played the hell out of it and my brother and my cousin spent a whole summer listening to it over and over. We tended to skip a bit on the second side of Regatta but this one always got played, and we'd always change the lyrics to 'I only stare this way achoooo!' Great fun for kids!

Regetta de Blanc doesn't have a bum track on it , sensational album . I love this track ❤

The beginning is Copeland's original demo for the song idea. They put it on because he had the TV on at home and the opera singer's "Oh, solo mio" came in accidentally right on time and it also matched the sentiment of the song.
