In my experience LAPD and LACS have always been quite forgiving and lenient ... However, not so in most surrounding cities with their own PD... especially down in the wealthier "boring" neighborhoods

I don't live in la, I live in a pretty wealthy socal neighborhood though. Corvettes and porches are regular sight. I ride a very illegal mini bike around. It's not lo-key like an e scooter. It's fast, it's loud. But I obey all traffic laws and don't really open it up till I get away from the neighborhoods. The cops are pretty chill as a result.

you should get one of those little bells so you can warn people when you come up behind them i got one on my bike & it works great they here it a good 30-40 yards before i get up on them.

Max speed technically is 28 mph on your scooter per California highway patrols website. Cool officer and you handled it well.

@@JuanPerez-sc7er it is for ebikes. As long as you observe the rules of the road like a bicycle, you will be fine. Join an LAESK8 ride on Facebook and ride with the group. They will give you real feedback and answer your questions.

You know part the the appeal of these videos is the slightly sped up segments with you zipping through long hallways and in and out of traffic on the streets. That’s and the occasional snide remarks. I toke up and watch.

When i go pick up at Chipotle (not scooter delivery guy yet) i just walk in and there's a rack and they dont even ask, (this is in North jersey, fort lee where i live now,) i hear ya from MARLBORO, I grew up in long branch, ocean twp (we played u in football alot h.s.) I’m not really sure I think even without realizing it your counter steering every time you make a turn. I saw this interesting video - basically without even realizing it we do a counter lean into every turn otherwise it’s really hard to do just check out the video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b8l-oLh_rbmmkZc.html

@@yogadude1234 no longer ride motorcycles due to disability but i can still counter steer without thinking about it. Saved me a few times it's most likely a perishable skill but i still have it.

80 degree's hot? Well we have -30 degree C with snow banks higher than 6 feet on the sidewalks, and yesterday our pansie prime minister just declared a state of emergency for Canada cause he thinks my life is in danger. In fact if this arcangel starts throwing lightning out of his fingers I"m out. Yes I was one of them at the protest in Winnipeg, if I could post a picture here I would, I hate this country now, not proud of how it's running but only time will tell now if the anti Christ running this country can disappear all Canadian's would be proud of their country again.
