I was 16 when i saw them live in Toronto in 1979 .. this song, Message in a Bottle, Bring on the Night and Walking on the Moon show why Regatta De Blanc is their best album imho .. Copeland is on another level

I saw them twice in concert, I was amazed at how much music and sound they produced. I came home and was reminded that they were only a three piece band originally

To me, as a 19 yr old at the time - this is THE Police song. The work of each 3 of them here is exemplary as musicians and a masterpiece!

Beautiful song. The vocals on this track are absolutely spectacular. So strange to think they recorded the entire album for just a few thousand dollars!

Always have loved this tune- outstanding hypnotic groove throughout. For another treat, the mono version that is on the Message in a Box set is an even more stripped down version that really highlights Stewart's drumming.

the police was the only non reggae band to have some of their songs covered by "real" reggae bands..this is one of them..
