My father knew Will Sampson during the Vietnam era. My dad was in the Marine Corps and between tours he was stationed in San Diego. Sampson also hung out with Jay Silverheels (Tonto). My dad (who was Northern Arapaho, as am I) told me of a time when he went to Los Angeles and Sampson got him a part as an extra in a movie, where he was with a group of other extras, all Arabs, riding over a sand dune on a soundstage. My dad said they got $15 a day, which was pretty good for the mid-60s. I asked him what movie it was and he coudln't remember. I thought it might be Lawrence of Arabia, but that came out in 1962. Anyway, he said they did multiple takes, but they would all switch costumes, head pieces that included a turban with a beard attached and do it again; the purpose being so it would look like there were a lot more in the group than there really was. He said they partied a lot back then and he learned not to bring any women close to Silverheels, as he'd steal them away every time. My dad didn't have a very vivid imagination so I have no doubt that this really happened, or something close to it.

The real bones were legit from India and were encased in resin with a black pain job over the body part, while the fake ones were encased in a see-through resin body part. So can attest to this. Its rare now to find them, I think because its viewed as macabre to do so and its gotten way cheaper to make fake body parts/bones in our time. Love the Vids Mint, keep it up!

Here's a good idea for a future video: Weird Tales - The Cursed Rumorosa Road of *"Licence To Kill"* During filming, several accidents and strange occurrences took place: 1) The test firing of a fake Stinger missile resulting in the prop flying too far then they intended and injuring a technician that was working on a telephone pole. 2) Timothy Dalton drove a tanker truck during the filming and he was almost in a accident when another truck somehow got pass the filming road blocks. 3) Security spotted shadowy figures near the trucks and when confronted them, the figures vanished without a trace. 4) Some of the tankers at another day moved on their own and one caught on fire. 5) During the explosive finale (when James Bond lits Franz Sanchez alight thanks to Felix's lighter), a still photo was taken and it showed a firey hand emerging from the explosion. 2nd Unit Director and Photographer Arthur Wooster looked over the rushes (as it was filmed with five cameras) frame-by-frame, but he'd never find it. And when Wooster brought John Glen (the Director) a copy of the "firehand" image, Glen's wife refused to have it in the house.

This is the first time I've heard of this urban legend. The tragic passing of Heather actually struck me quite profoundly because I, myself, was diagnosed with Chron's when I was seven back in 82. Fortunately it wasn't a misdiagnosis, but it had compounded a lactose intolerance that was only discovered literally days before I nearly died of internal blood loss (20+ inches of small intestine had to be removed because of irreversible scarring). This was in Utah, and apparently I was the youngest case of Chron's in the state at the time and was on the operating table for over 4 hours. Scary stuff. My single mother was made of some seriously strong stuff back then and will forever be my hero

Yeah it's like the story of the omen being cursed or the exorcist. Most of the time its just concidence or natural phenomenon. Beck was really ill and wanted to leave some money to his family, Sampson died from complications due to alcohol similar to how the chief's dad died in the novel that the one flew over the cuckoo's nest is based on. For Heather, she might have had that blockage for a while and as for poor Dominique, her boyfriend was psycho and we don't know how long he kept sending her creepy packages.

So yeah--using real skeletons on a Huge Hollywood production that Highlights Spiritual Upset CAN generate the proper "frequencies" required to generate "A Curse," whereas those same skeletons might not even be disturbed by being employed on a "B" Horror Movie (less people, less money, less interest, less INTENT). Same for being used in a movies with less of a "charged theme." Generally, the energies in question--once evoked--will linger around people connected to the project, and if they have Issues that these "negativities" can exacerbate to feed on, then things that might have been "simply bad" CAN become tragic. It would not shock me in the slightest if one of these creatures spotted the troubles Ms. Dunne was experiencing in her personal life and hopped onboard to see what it could "make worse." Same for the misdiagnoses of Heather. No, these spirits did not CAUSE any of these tragedies, as such, but I wonder if THE LUCK of both of these girls might not have been substantially improved if the Remains of REAL Dead People hadn't been used as a cost-cutting measure. Even in Death, even with Curses, it's always, somehow, about fucking Money..._

@badkitty49225 күн бұрын
I'm not doubting that there was spiritual unrest and activity during the making of the first two movies, especially since it's come out that real skeletons were used to terrorize Jo Beth Williams' character in the mud pool. I also don't doubt that the upset/angry spirits were appeased and put to rest by Will Sampson performing a ritual for them. There have been other movies that have had issues brought on by props, how the ghostly subject matter was handled, and misuse of items not meant to be toyed with. I can't discount how strange and incredible how many cast members alone have died while making, or shortly after making these movies. Look at the first/original Omen movie. There were a few very strange deaths surrounding people involved in making that movie, with at least one mirroring one of the shocking deaths FROM the movie.
