People will always expect you being poor, wether you are an orphan or you lost your job.they want to see struggle not to be seen looking good, people have that mentality. and they forget that god loves us all and everyone has his/her path.

So, I think, it's a kind person who see Norma being neglected by her uncle & her cousins looking down on her. This reminds me of a true story in my past.
