The Poppy Girls-five girls aged from 10 to 17 years, all of whom have fathers serving in the British armed forces-perform their single, 'The Call (No need to say Goodbye)', at the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance, at the Royal Albert Hall on 9 November 2013.

last 30 seconds piss me off is he old man was a rating he would of been pied off. I've had mates who have had family die when they're away yet they don't gey flown off to say their last goodbyes even when the navy know they are at deaths doors. One rule for officers another for ratings

At 5:30 the two girls look at each other in happiness because the girl all the way to the left nailed her part. So adorable to see the bond between them.

I'm still in tears seeing that this sweet girl gets to be with her father again. Seeing tears of happiness and joy is what this world needs. God bless this family and this wonderful singing group.

Cried my eyes out right the way through. I can still feel the same as these girls at 67 years old, the times dad wasn't there for Christmas, or birthdays, sports days, prize days, or just when I needed a hand on my shoulder saying "Its alright son."

Thank you for having this on KZfaq in 2023. What a lovely video with Heavenly voices. It was so lovely to see the deployed father walking down to his daughter in front of the Queen back 9 years ago with others from the Royal Family. That was so moving and inspiring. Thank you to all men and women who serve in every country. I love these Royal events in honour of our Defence Personnel. This was such a special moment for the Poppy Girls and everyone there plus all of us still saying thank you to everyone who helped make this special event happen. God Bless and Keep all. I had a son serving in the Australian armed forces and was sent overseas I was always very worried and concerned for his and his mate's safety and well being. When the young lady's father walked out I actually cried because it reminded me of my son returning home safe and sound. The 5 fathers would be the proudest fathers in the British forces I'm sure. All the very best to them.

Been working abroad half of my childrens life, never actually thought of not getting back until now - but after a fatal helicopter crash in Norway where 13 fathers where killed on their way home from working offshore to their families 2 days ago. That makes this song make perfectly good sense to me even though I'm not deplyed over seas in the armed forces.
