A note from me: This series has emotionally wrecked me, but what a well-written, engaging story. The Poppy War series is now one of my favorite book series of all time, and I would highly recommend it - that said, it touches on quite a few heavy topics, so I would suggest checking out a list of trigger warnings beforehand if those are a concern.
