For rotating the array meshes around the empty: You can also go into the "N" panel and put in the rotation values numerically for the rotation of the empty. That way you don't have to eyeball when rotating around the empty. Say you have 25 pieces, just go into the models Rotation Z value and type in "360/25" to get an exact, equally distanced radial layout of the pieces. Great quick video though! Well compressed. Not easy to put this stuff into such a short amount of runtime.

@SaqibHussain88
@SaqibHussain88 4 жыл бұрын
@@ArMuhyuddin You can use any software the main thing is "the end results that counts alot " . I am using blender since the end of 2013 so I have gain alot of knowledge through these years . I am sure you can catchup by watching youtube tutorials. And I think you can use blender for the architecture stuff because I do prefer blender for doing any kind of 3d task. You can get realistic results in blender using cycles easily but if you want to use real time rendering then I will recommend you to use unreal engine for the rendering . But for modeling and texturing I think blender is easy to use.

the arraymodifier is great, but sadly the modifier does not use instances :( so the poligonfaces increase and the scene gets heavy. a workaround for this is to instance the mesh onto a single vertex and array the single vertex. i remeber i did that and was able to create and render a building with over 900 storries without increasing the memory or policount at all

3:25 There is another way to do this, without having to change the origin of the mesh. Give the Empty the same location and rotation as the mesh. Position the 3D cursor at the centre of rotation. Now rotate the Empty around this centre, and you will see the copies of the mesh arrange themselves around the same centre.

Make sure to play around with position of your mesh while in edit mode . It will take time but you will get hang on it .

Ps it's easier to divide 360 by number of your array count, than apply this number to the rotation of the empty
