Can an absolute super-noob, with less than a year's training in an alternate weapons form (lightsaber, no thrusting at all) survive his instructor bouts at the St. George's Day Exhibition of Arms without enduring shame and humiliation?
He can. Because he has put in the work and has GOOD FORM on his side.
Happy Fencing!

Particularly love the appropriate musical accompaniment. And watching Kat & Mystery Guy sabering. Mystery Guy impresses me as having *considerable* previous experience with other forms of fencing or...something. Dance, maybe? That stance isn't easy for most people. But yes, the power of form. Doing the Thing for sure.

He has had less than a year of training and that was significant real life vacations from training. So yes, he is a super newbie, just a very hard-working one.

@@russmitchellmovementWould never tell. If this is his start level I think future looks bright.

@@CryptoC4T he has that very rare earnestly sought after quality. When I tell him to fix something, instead of arguing, he actually does so. You can see the results.

Good job to Austin here. Fundamentals are a thing. Incidentally, is that a spadroon that the third instructor, Alex, is using?

Wylde's broadsword is spadroon-adjacent, not like the big baskethilts.
