The keep jumbling Nepotism in Sports (coaching front office positions etc ) with actual play on the field. Putting someone in a professional sport where he doesn't deserve it is wrong.

It is odd that this is a thing when the Lakers themselves have been about nepotism since Jim and Jeanie were adults and could work for the Lakers. There is a whole HBO series where one major plot point is Jeanie "working her way up", which is of course fiction. She has no more skill steering the team than anyone else if you look at the stats and story since she has taken over. Sure, better than Jim, but Jim never really got that he was terrible at all things basketball, including delegating to people who actually did.
