+Melanie L you are so right. i'm only fifteen but i've always been a fond of makeup since my mom is fond of it too. but every time i wear makeup even just the lightest i can manage, that barely-there one, some people still look at me weirdly and i know they're thinking that this girl is insecure about the way she looks, but i'm not even really bothered about the gap between my upper front teeth! i'm not insecure. i put on makeup because it's something that i want, NOT WHAT I NEED, just because. it's like being in love with a person, you know. i can't explain it. i just enjoy doing my own makeup or my friends'. :D but seriously, makeup is indeed an art, not a cover up of women who others presume to don't like themselves. and doing a good makeup requires you a lot of practice. it's not just something that you never learned to do before and just decided to do it now and yet you still managed to pull off something like this. no. nope. even when you think you were born with that kind of talent, i don't think you will be able to pull off something like this. :3

Everyone has a brighter (almost white) line over and under their lips, but when you use lipstick, you cover that line, which gives it a "fuller" effect, especially if you're wearing darker colors. Anyways.. it doesn't really matter if it's overdrawn or not, as long as it looks great.
