Highlights from the "Snapshots of the Savior" kickoff rally in Auburn, Washington January 2007 with Ron Halvorsen, Sr., on the topic of "The Power of Prayer Walking."
Ron will speak again at the Auburn City Seventh-day Adventist Church at 7 p.m. April 14-21, and the Snapshots of the Savior event will be broadcast on the Hope Channel at 4 & 7 p.m. (PST) April 21-28.

It's greater going in person on the streets and neighborhoods, because like this lady you can also do outreach in person and actually put a face to the church and Jesus' Love in action , it is so more effective in so many ways. We are not meant to stay behind the four walls of the church, Jesus told us to GO .......out into.................

I believe in the power of prayer. But I honestly don't see how prayer walking will have any greater outcome. He mentioned mapping out on a map by neighborhoods being prayed for. I don't see how me physically walking the block in prayer will have a greater answer from God then me praying for it at home. Silly stuff.

The point of the map is to make you remember to do it. Also being in the place lets you see needs you wouldn't otherwise.

There is an excellent book by Graham Kendrick called Prayer Walking do get a copy and read through for the theology and testimonies of its power.
