@@Moonlakes Gtho Spellwiki-Sherlock, knowing what I know or don't know better than me, sure. I emphasized on how the Seal of Vengeance would help him keep the rogue from restealthing via DoT ticks. The name is secondary to the nature of what it does in this case. A lot of people don't play a paladin, but they know there's a seal that ticks over time, so it's easier for more ppl to make sense of the comment.

@Specoli 25 dmg a hit over the duration of that fight was more health than pshero had for most the fight. It costs no mana to swap auras.

@Specoli I counted at LEAST 125 white attacks not counting other attacks that's at least 3125 dmg. That's how much health pshero had the majority of the time.

@Specoli "we paladins" :D you speak for all the palies? I leveled three palys in the original TBC, and yes - SoV has it's place in arena. I'd rather make the rogue life harder, than minmax the seal dmg. In a long, stun/CC fight - you're not hitting the rogue often, so SoR is worse dps than SoB, SoC and stacked SoV...i'd rather use the utility seal (sov) - and let the rogue count CDs and ticks. Same goes for the aura - you're stunlocked...any passive dmg on the rogue is good, especially because it is a dual wield, fast hitting class. Conc aura is not that important - because the goal of the rogue is to OOM you...they may even let you heal. Moreover the rogue has gazillion ways to stop your heals regardless your aura. And you can see it in this fight - the rogue oomed the paly first, then was gg. The pally would win if focus on doing dmg, and not allowing the rogue to reset, bandage etc (if possible). That is for 1v1. If you intent to heal - go 2v2+

@@dadelaar650 i guess he is playing nightelf in prospect of wotlk (or he is just trolling :D ) so what changes is: while humans in wotlk have a passively higher stealth detection (instead of 20 seconds massively increased) nightelfes have a higher stealth level. (not sure if one of them is stronger than the other against each other but having a higher stealth lvl is better against every class who has no stealth itself so we can at least assume the nightelfes ability is on par with the humans). so lets compare the 2nd important racial: humans get a free trinket. nightelfes can stealth in combat now. or if they dont use shadowmeld like a 3rd vanish and just use it at the start they can just stay at a good position with a much higher stealth lvl than their enemies and most likely detect them first. so its at least argueable if humans or nightelfes have the better rogue racials in wotlk

@@johng2794 I see. Yes it's quite a hard choice for Alliance Rogues in PvP then... but it seems NE does have more Rogue specific racials (improved stealth). Also the 2% dodge on melee/ranged seems pretty good. And with shadowmeld you will basically have a 2nd vanish (but weaker), since it can be used in combat.
