One of the irreversible laws of receiving tangible blessings from the LORD is the LAW OF TITHING.
God in His generosity asks us to SOW our TITHE (the one tenth of our earnings)
AS A SEED for TORRENTIAL OPEN HEAVENS BLESSINGS.

Faith in Christ not formulas , we’ll said Sir ……. The 90% would still rather have their ears tickled and their lusts roused by a fake gospel that cares about gain not gods passion which is perishing souls going to a burning hell. Burning lusts to build bigger and bigger bank accounts is not a focus found anywhere in scripture only in the modern greed gospel

The truth about tithing: 1. It was introduced by Abraham but only once Abraham tithed in his lifetime and that tithe did not come from the increase of the land as requested by God. Abraham's tithe came from the spoils of war after he defeated the five kings and took their spoils. That was not the tithe mentioned in Numbers, Leviticus and Deuteronomy or in the New Testament either. 2. There were 5 types of tithing: - Levitical Tithing - Priestly Tithing - King's Tithing - Poor's Tithing - Feast Tithing 3. All the tithings above were never about money at all though money already existed long before that. Abraham was a super rich man at that time but he did not give the tithe to Melchizedek in monetary form. Money were called shekels and denari at that time. If God reqeusted tithing in the form of money, He would already said so but He said bring the produce of the land to His house. 4. Tithing was from the increase of the produce of the land: animals and plants. 5. Therefore only ranchers and farmers needed to tithe at that time. Not all Israelites. Other professions were NOT requested to tithe at that time. 6. Tithes were to be kept in the physical storehouse in the temple of God in Jerusalem, not in a church building. Where is the physical storehouse and temple of God now? 7. Levitical tithes were to be given only to the Levites and their priests for they did not have land heritance from God. All the other tribes of Israel were given land as their inheritance except the Levites. Why? Because the Levites had to serve only God in the temple of God in Jerusalem so they and their families needed the tithes to sustain their lives. 8. The whole book of Malachi was talking about the Levites and their priests who stole the tithes from God. God was not talking to us, the Church Age Christians. 9. In Matthew 23: 23 - 24, Jesus was talking to those scribes and Pharisees who claimed to be practising the Law of Moses but cheated when giving their tithes. Even though they were super rich, they tithed by giving mint, anise and cummin which were only wild herbs that grew wildly behind their houses. They who preached tithing to the Jews but cheated the tithes themselves. Jesus was actually rebuking their attitudes. Jesus did not propose tithing when He was talking to them. 10. Galatians 3: 10 - 13 says those who still chose to live by the Mosaic Law or Old Testament Law must practise all of them if not they would be cursed. Therefore, if one chose to tithe, make sure he also must observe all the other laws and statues of the Old Testament, or else he is cursed. Do you know how many laws are they in the Mosaic Law? Too many. You who still chose to tithe, make sure you do all of the laws or else you will be cursed. 11. Jesus came to perfect the law by sacrifising Himself on the cross. He put an end to the law and that goes to the law of tithing too. Read Romans 10: 4. If you tithe you make His sacrifice on the cross totally in vain. 12. Not tithing does not mean we are not giving to God. Tithing is only 10%. We give offering to God in replace of tithing. Offering can be less than 10% or much more than 10%. It can be 50%, 70% or even 100%. Give to God with a cheerful heart, NOT out of compulsion or with a dreadful heart. Give as God purposed it in your heart to give. Tithing is a bondage. Offering is out of worship, love for God and freewill. Firstfruit and tithing are two different matters. Children of God, read your Bible always and diligently. You must read all of it, not Touch n Go here and there. TITHING IS NEVER ABOUT MONEY. TITHING HAD ALWAYS BEEN FOOD. GOD BLESS ALL. SHALOM.

Concerning giving, or tithing, or prosperity, Malachi 3:8-12 is not the full counsel of God. It is an excerpt, quoted to the church for centuries (believe it or not), which is a misrepresentation of God's counsel. We've accepted it because that's what we have always been taught. I also thank God for the time you have taken to dig deeper into the Word of God to know truth for yourself. May I show you a few points that may yet make things even clearer? I draw your attention to verse 27 of the passage you have shown me. God said, "And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee." Why is that verse there? What does it mean? You have just come upon the very reason for tithing. It was God Himself who said the following: Numbers 18:21: And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, *for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.* God ordained that tithes should be given to *Levites.* No other priests. And definitely not pastors! As I said earlier, no one in the entire bible has ever been scripturally authorized or appointed to receive tithes but Levites. Abraham did give a tithe to Melchizedek because of tradition (I covered the details of this in my book, and I provided evidence). It was not the same tithe as was mandated by the law. So, why did God set aside tithes for the Levites? God tells us again here: Numbers 18: 23-24: But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that *among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.* But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the Lord, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. God set aside tithes for Levites because they had no inheritance (house, land, possessions, etc.). Their job was to serve in the Jewish tabernacle throughout their lives. Without tithes they would go in poverty, because they had no way of making a living. God created tithes to support Levites because they had no other way of supporting their families. That's why tithes existed. But it's now an Old Testament requirement, and we are living in the New Testament. None of those laws apply to us today. we are in the dispensation of Grace. Gosh, there's so much that I want to tell you, but the space is limited. But I hope I have shown you enough to free you from the false doctrine of tithing. Tithing was added to Christianity by the Catholic church in 567 AD, in order to make the money they received from the congregation more permanent. If you still want to tithe, go ahead. Do so to your heart's content. But understand that if you do, you are doing it purely by choice. Not because God has required you to tithe. I will leave you with the doctrinal points I have made. Tithing is Old Testament Law and it was only about giving a tenth of your harvest and animals. Money existed but the it was never a substitute for the tithe. Even the Pharisees in the New Testament, tithed 'herb and mint' amongst other foods, never money. After the resurection, the new church gave freely with a joyful heart which is how we should give.

There's no such thing as a biblical tithe that was received from earned monetary wages and the tithe indictments in Malachi 3 were specifically directed towards the Levitical Priesthood (read Malachi 2:1). There's no such thing as a biblical monetary blessing for giving money to a religious institution, nor is there any biblical curse for not doing so. The biblical ceremonial and civil ordinances that facilitated tithing under Mosaic Law are obsolete. We are free to give, not bound to pay.

Simply Keep your money sir, God does not beg for money, every service or sacrifice in this Kingdom whether offerings or firstfruits or giving alms to the poor or tithes cannot go unrewardedin this age and in the age to come. The moment you start grumbling about what you are giving to a church you are wasting your money, better take it somewhere else. We don't support the work of God, we are just stewards of what God gave us, we give as an act of reverence to God, he is too big to be supported, if he wants his work to move on, he will not beg me to give. Giving is an act of worship, not a give and get affair. It is posture of worship, when the jews were sacrificing their bulls or rams, do you think they were doing God a favor by their offerings? Do you think God was in need of those sacrifices? You got it all wrong if you give to receive, that is a wrong mentality. Just like giving the tithes or offerings so that you can receive is a wrong teaching, but if it comes from a posture of worship from the heart, now that God will honor. FYI, you are quite ignorant, Tithe was there before mosaic laws even came. Abraham Tithed, that was not the law of Moses.

All the examples given are all efforts to validate the collection of tithes. But the tithe is part of the laws and Jesus Christ ended the law. Please read Hebrews 7 from verse 5 down the line. The adamant attitude of the tithe collectors is a deliberate attempt to say that Christ is not the end of law. I challenge brethren to name an Apostle of Christ that collected tithe. The Israelites could not keep the laws and a law broken is all the laws broken. Any preacher that encourages you to pay tithes which is of the law,is just enrolling for condemnation, for the giver and the recipient are on the same level. Be warned.

In regards to Abram's submission to Melchizedek, where in the bible does it say that God required that submission or that it was any act of faith? Also, where in the bible does it say that Abraham ever "tithed" again? If read the whole passage in Genesis 14 you'll that Abraham (Abram at the time) gave away all of those items as he declared he wouldn't accept any of them. Giving is a different matter. Biblical, systematic tithes were taxes, not gifts, and only received as consumable items. God isn't a mob boss or a slot machine.

The truth about Tithe has seen been allowed to thrive for so long, thereby making genuine believer doubt if what he or she have read in the Bible and what the modern Pastors today are saying are anything to go by. The root of every evil is money. Tithe was never money and God never intended it to be so. If it was, Our Lord Jesus Christ would have emphasized it just the way our preachers today are doing. Please search the scriptures to confirm otherwise. Read Deuteronomy 14:22-29. The pastor did not mention Jesus Christ, Peter, Paul, Mathew. But Mentioned Abraham,Moses. Who is greater, who owns the Word? Mathew 23:23 sighted by Jesus Christ wasn't an approval but a statement of the law that He Himself ended, Romans 10:4. In the Old Testament you don't pay tithe but give and eat it as directed. Many things are going wrong in the world today because of wrong interpretation of the word of God. And Nigerian Pastors are especially, championing the tithe crusade because of money it brings to themselves. A child find it difficult to do away with feeding bottle but the mother knows best.

Tithing is NOT a New Testament Ordinance - Period. The eloquent manipulations and swindling are enough please. There is no store house or it's equivalent in the New Testament. The believers become the Royal Priesthood and The Temple of the Living God. As such they, not a store house, become the custodians and stewards of God's wealth, furnishing it as they are directed by God, for the work of God’s Kingdom. Please, learn how to fund your ministries from the classic Parable of the Talents and from the Book of Acts. Sow back into the lives of the flock, as they give their offerings. Emulate the travelling man in the parable, how he gave the extra talents made by his stewards back to them. This is how Kingdom-funding stewards are raised. He did not take the talents from them to keep in his 'store house'. This is the New Testament model. Take it or leave. Anything else is just kicking against the pricks. The Lord Himself will liberate His people. Indeed, He has already started and all you tithe collector's should be seeing the signs by now and repent. Yes, a lot of ministers had been tithe collectors, a lot still are, but that does not make it right. The purity of the Gospel of Christ, with God's unadulterated directives are emerging in these end times. It is the Lord's doing. Many have been called Indeed, but few will be chosen.

Mark 12:41-44 The Widow’s Offering Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money. Tithing? Sons are exempt. Jesus queried: From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs, duty or taxes? From their own sons or the others? (Matt. 17:24-27). If even the kings of the earth would not collect any levies from their children, how does one expect God to collect them from His children in His own Kingdom? Sorry, but tithing was for the Levites and was part of the Old covenant (Mosaic Law) delivered to the Man of God back during that time. And so then we see that Jesus never taught any of his disciples to teach people to tithe, and give money to the preachers, this was never advocated nor taught in the new testament scripture. Frankly, that's why its called the New Testament. And adoption of this for the fast talking and curing preachers that essentially make people feel back or ever (cursed) because they don't come and bring the Pastor 10% of there earnings is absolutely wrong. It's just like have the baptism wrong when they baptize people in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. They where not taught to baptized people this way. Peter preached differently and told everyone (3000) to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (acts 2:38) new testament. Jesus fulfilled the old way to bring about a new way in only his name. Therefore we are not going to get cursed when we don't tithe because this is not the command that God to New Testament believers. Finance must be gained by working; let the preachers get a job like Peter, and Paul had to make money and take care of their families. The word of God is not for sale.
