Place your stamp on the stand first, then press into ink pad, then press onto paper. Basically it's for aligning and placement of your images on papers. If you use multiple colors or stamps with different pieces it would come in handy. I have the Tim Holtz one and it works great.

Good Monday Morning to you Pam! Thank you for sharing this all about tuck spots today! You come across some pretty cool papers and other ephemera. We recently (still in the middle of) remodeling a small bathroom in our home, and the original owners left a 1965 Christmas, Better Homes and Gardens magazine inside the walls! Now of course I have many old magazines, but coming across someones personal mag is priceless to me. We also leave behind notes, mags, photos etc before we seal up the walls. The advertisements in old magazines are great for journaling (as you have demonstrated previously). I find a lot of journaling items at my local goodwill. My beat finds there, have been the wood rubber stamps, and fiskars punches. It seems like I live at GW lately, because I am hunting for my supplies! What a savings too. Just wanted to say Thank you again, for all you do… the videos, helpful hints, ideas, demonstrations etc. You are so talented and a great teacher and a lot of fun to watch. Thank you for helping so many of us “create with reckless abandon”! Enjoy your day!😀🙋♀️

I agree with Sherri Control - Studio 28E Journal Creations. After I push the apparatus down, while still holding it down, I rub over the top of the stamp to get a better image. Play with it to get.the right pressure, for the different types of stamps. These are all great ideas! I love making tucks. Thank you! ❤

Who decided what the "lingo" really means? Getting a bit tired of the speech police... I think you can call things whatever you want. We will learn from watching you what you mean when you say things and understand your speech patterns. Things will mean different things to people in different areas or professions based on their experiences. Language is fluid and changes over geography and time. Sometimes even politics figure in. I love how rich the English language is and how people choose to express themselves. If I do say so, I think you express yourself beautifully. You are descriptive and kind. You be you. You are wonderful. I have one of those stamp presses. It was the precursor to the modern stamping presses. You were suppose to be able to repress things if the first time didn't stamp the first time. You were suppose to press in the middle and it worked much better with rubber stamps than the clear ones. I think they suggested the stamp pad underneath. We liked the mouse pads but they are getting hard to find.

Hi Pam, I saw the same thing a majig on liquidation a few years back for $3 didn't know what it was so decided not to get it. I looked it up and yes it goes back 10 years but still available on-line for $30!!!! The demonstrator sticks the stamp on the acrylic and then GENTLY presses down to stamp to avoid breaking the acrylic. Make sure your sponge feet are level. Great way to mass produce a collage on an ATC!! Now I'm sorry I didn't get it! LOL!! Thanks for theg great ideas for tucks and such.

Hi Pam! I still have the Fiskars stamp positioning tool from back when it was a new innovation. You can also use it to ink your stamps. I’ve been using the Misti Stamping Platform for several years now instead, but have kept the Fiskars for old-time’s sake. Just signed up for your newsletter. I’ve been a crafter/paper hoarder for years, but I’m new to junk journaling. Thanks for all your great videos showing me how to finally use my stash. 😂

Hi Pam, Yes, I seen a comparison video the other day. Spence you baught that at a thrift store. I think that might not be the complete package. I think there's a missing part. All the ones I've seen has a bottom tray or plate, not just foam pad.

Some great tuck ideas! From what I understand this helps people stamp that might be new or shake. Suppose to cut down on blurred Stamping. Stick the stamp to the back and bring the ink to the stamp. Stamp should stick to the stand. TFS! Have a great week!

The lightness in the center is from pushing the stamp on the press with your thumb. You put the stamp on first and then ink it.

I came to say this, lol. It didn’t do the middle for some reason you said Pam, then said probably user error, yup, you pushed the stamp onto the Fiskar thingy in the middle and removed the ink with your finger teehee.

Fiskars stamper, I had one , the spongy legs kept coming out, glued them but it made stamping wonky. Its gone, I don't believe it sold well. I haven't seen them . I started stamping after 2012 and bought mine then. Love your videos.
