changli is like danjin can stay on field longer for more personal dmg and has outro that buffs you play danjin as solo carry or duo dps with havoc rover, so imo you would play changli in similar way

I never understood that either with the amount of field time she takes up idk why ppl are so convinced she's a sub DPS. Just because she can boost the next fusion resonator coming in doesn't make her sub DPS like goddamn these people are so slow. She's clearly meant to be played as a main DPS and not as a quick swap unit like Yinlin. Even the game developers said she's a main DPS

Cuz there’s idiots who are just jumping on any opportunity to use encore or there just idiots who can’t take a quick 10-15 minutes to fully read and understand her kit. To notice that she’s a main dps for now but once better fusion dps come out her role will most likely drop to sub dps but people are just wanting an excuse to use Encore.

I find it crazy how just a supportive outro can bring such confusion to the extent of calling it ”identity crisis”. Aside from that ONE thing (the outro), nothing indicates her being a sub-DPS. No one questioned Danjin being an on-field Main DPS for her outro, why is anyone even considering Changli not being one?

A lot of people see Danjin as a sub-dps actually, since she is Havoc Rover's best partner. I agree though. Changli having a buff outro shouldn't be considered an identity crisis. The rest of her kit screams main DPS.

@@Qdawwgthe worse thing is Chixia might be the best pairing for her. Mortefi's Outro is useless on Changli. Changli's Liberation buff is useless on Mortefi. Changli & Encore demands lot of field time. So i don't know why people think they will pair well just because they read Fusion dmg buff on Changli's outro. Chixia with the standard 5* gun will be great since she'll benefit on both fusion & liberation buff Changli while Changli will benefit from the buff of the 5* Pistol.

@@Qdawwg Chixia is fkn broken. How are the pistol users bar Mortefi so overlooked? My fully resonated 6 copy aalto deals almost as much damage with a 4 star weapon and a buff set (the one with the purple bird) as my jiyan with his 5 star signature and fully leveled echoes, more skill levels etc.

i feel like changli made for future fusion burst dps, also i have a feeling that wuwa meta doesnt lean towards hypercarry.. so you can have 2 "main dps" 1 on field dps and burst dps and the 3rd slot would be healer/support.

It sure seems like A LOT of people think the only type of dps in the game is BURST dps and if you don’t do any burst dps, you essentially do zero dps. This is the sentiment that I’ve been getting from majority of people that just don’t understand what CONSISTENT dmg is.

Got S6 Yangyang on Jinhsi's banner, she's been been fun to play with her. Heron 12% dmg buff (plus havoc forte stacks for Jinhsi), 40% total atk buff between S6 and moonlit clouds, gives energy regen on outro, decent personal dps with aoe, good grouping on smaller mobs

I think Changli is just a double class character (sub-dps and dps) problem is if you want to make the most out of her kit you would want to run another dps with changli like Encore but another sub-dps might work for her just fine but not as better with Encore.

Changli isnt a subdps. She currently functions as a dual dps with encore due to high on-field time. It's like Danjin and Hrover

Pokkle misinterpreted the graph. The first comparison of 10.4% is Jinhsi at C0R0 vs Jiyan at C0R1. Look at the far left before 2 for Jinshi (0+0) and the far right for Jiyan (0+1) and you will understand. Its why Jiyan doesn't see an increase in damage in column 3 and 4 despite his signature being a huge increase over standard its because its C1R1 (1+1) and C2R1 (2+1) and his initial chains ain't that good until C3. Because C1 gives Jiyan jack shit. The difference between Sig Jinhsi and Sig Jiyan is actually around 30%.

Yuanwu and verina is her best team for jinshi hypercarry imo.just deploy yuanwu skill build verina high er to ult faster and ull be full stacking jinshi in 10-15secs or 1 and a half rotation.and the best part is u dont need to build yuanwu at all hes just there to slap his totem on field.

So at e0 jinhsi is only a 10% dps over jiyan? Wow that’s not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. If that’s the case there is not powercreep. Jinhsi should do more dmg. She’s a nuke dps who takes a ton of time to build up and has backloaded dmg. Meanwhile jiyan has QOL,auto parry, grouping etc

incandescence - in-can-dess-sense. More or less, there's a minor flourish to the dess-sense, but it comes naturally if you just make sure not to make a gap between the two parts, so just extend the s sound from dess- into the start of sense, and you have the correct pronunciation.

I thought yuanwu was the best jinhsi teammate according to people in jinhsimains discord since u only have to swap in and swap out immediately with him on the healing set to get so much stacks. Yinlin takes much more time and is much harder to play with cancels and long animations and also requires to be well built for damage

I don't think the outro skill decides what a character will be able to do entirely. Danjin has a Havoc Amplify outro and she's a "MainDPS". Clearly they're designing characters that can do both. And clearly you don't need coordinated attacks to be a "SubDPS", look at Sanhua.

I'm very confused by the image at 6:13. Does "0+1" mean S0 with R1 weapon? And is Mortefi assumed to be S6R5? The words on the left side above the table means "Starting from 00 Yinlin and 00 Jinhsi" while the right only mentions "starting from 01" Jiyan

Anyone who has already played Changli's trial version should already get the feel that she's a main dps. So how about we put it this way, just think about her outro buffing another Infusion burst DPS to do Nuke/burst damage then switch back to Changli to do consistent damage then wash,rinse and repeat.

one think worth mentioning about changli is that while she is better at parrying than jhinsi she is more vulnerable overall since she can be hit in her charge attack and forte and that feels really bad.

it's the same with Jinshi though? When you cast skill/fight in flying mode etc - she still getting hits from ground enemies underneath, swinging their melee weapons

@@zenixvampirchik652 no, in flying mode u can dodge infinitely without loosing the combo (u dont restart the attack chain) and during her final skill time is stopped so u dont take dmg or loose time in it. The only time shes vulnerable is her first four normals on the ground. Those do reset if u dodge.

@@s-zs7nn duh you can dodje in air on any character so it doesn't make a difference. Jinshi needs to attack in this state for a while so it makes sense she can move a bit freely in it. You still will get hit a lot in the air, being able to dodge doesn't make you invunurable, only a chance at doing so. Except for jinshi you also lose a little bit of not as important, but still a damage window as flying mode isn't infinite

Also one that people don't really mention is that her attacks can blocks enemy projectiles or attacks i think? Like the laser from tutorial boss gets blocked by her mini fire sword swings

@@zenixvampirchik652 i dont think u get what i was saying at all then. changli can be hit MID ANIMATION. you cannot dodge out of it u just eat the attacks. Thats why she has the dmg reduction traces. If u get hit cause u didnt dodge thats just a skill issue and not a character fault. U want them to be invincible or something lol.

I think jinshi didn't really powercrept jiyan, becuase outisde of aoe damage, jiyan also provides very easy parrying in his ult, and an innate grouping, so while jinshi deals higher damage, jiyan is much more easier to play, and can be even better in situatuions where you need grouping to hit all of the enemies, so that jiyan can hit them all while jinshi can't

I have a dilemma, my fav hero based on looks and skill animation is Changli. I managed to pull Jinhsi and I have a lot of fun with her and I like to see big numbers. My question is should I go for Jinhsi's weapon and make her stronger since I have all she needs beside that or save all my pulls for Changli but I have no fusion hero to pair her with? Atm I have 75 pulls saved up and around 40% of exploration until I'm maxed out. Any opinion is welcome.

Of course pull for character that you love first. Rerun exist, we'll get Jinhsi weapon rerun and you can pull for her weapon and Changli's weapon during that rerun.

@@Ausku_24 Nobody knows, depends on the developer. Genshin Impact usually do it within 6 - 8 months after character linitial release. The thing is, this game will always get periodic updates with new characters, you probably will find another interesting character on version 1.2 update. So I suggest prioritize characters first.

The Jinhsi vs Jiyan graph is misinterpreted (judging by one comment some may also be). Jinhsi calcs starts at 0+0 meaning one Jinhsi with NO SIG vs Jiyan starting at 0+1 meaning one Jiyan WITH HIS SIG. Jinhsi without Sig deals 10% more than Jiyan with Sig. Its done like this because of CN dumb cost logic. A 5* is one cost but S6 4* isn't. You can see that They did 0+0 Jinhsi + 0+0 Yinlin vs 0+1 Jiyan even though Mortefi S6 is more expensive (especially if you wanna give Mortefi standard 5 weapon). Gives Jinhsi Yuanwu instead of Yinlin and do the Sig Jinhsi vs Sig Jiyan the gap will be bigger. Because the truth, the difference between Yinlin and Yuanwu isn't much.

Yeah no, when the enemies will have milions of health to be on par with new dps, what is dodging and parriyng gonna do? Its only gonna make you look cool while you cant do enough dmg in the tower with your old dps, same goes for holograms

True and false. Skill makes you not die easily, does good dmg. But in the end its still stats check because of the timer.

That's only really true in the overworld. Tower is just DPS check and skill can only help so much against easy enemies with inflated HP.

Jihnsi and jiyan damage differece is only 10%. Its only 10k difference in total damage But jiyan is more fun and satisfy to use.

tbh the biggest problem with changli and encore duo for me is that most of encore's damage is not res lib damage so she can only take advantage of half of changli's outro. Another unit that takes full advantage of this buff is actually Chixia (Mortefi can't snapshot Changli's buffs) but we'll see.

I wouldn’t say powercreep even if Jinhsi does more damage because Jiyan has more things to offer. Jiyan is better for AoE scenarios, has CC, is easier to parry with, has smoother rotations, and is less prone to bad crit luck since his damage is spread over many hits.

Both are good, I have one already she's amazing dps nuker, her and Rover are fun to play with, Jiyan i got him find him kind of lack luster, kind of boring to use. Changli will be great sub dps unit i lost 50/50 got Encore finally so i got great sub unit for her since she increases fire damage by 20% similar to Yinlin with Lightning

In my opinion Jiyan is just easier to use which may be boring for some so yes true. He’s a sustained dps unit with a tiny nuke when he has 50 concerto energy but I don’t see why you think he’s luckluster?
