john doe Yes, I do have a mild amount of arrogance... the kind that comes with confidence but is humbled before reasonable ideas. Not needy at all. Bias towards humanity and equality?? Yes. And borderline disorder, lol, no. I'm very stable thank you. For all intensive purposes I am atheist so this "one true god" fanaticism isn't an actual debate in my mind. We live in America where there is a freedom of religion so believe in a giant gingerbread god for all i care. That's your business... until you use your BELIEFS to call me evil for being in love with another man. My morals are in tact sir, and my "foul language" is a commentary to my frustration with your hypocrisy, which you so eloquently avoided. But I do care, which is why I am writing in support of the gay community/culture... Do you really think your comments are helping??
@vwade33819 жыл бұрын
Adam Miller Inarguably the "one true god" of American religion is MONEY. Tax exemption and prosperity doctrine rule religion, while feeding the hungry, sheltering the poor, being humble, compassionate, kind, loving and forgiving are not such a big deal anymore.

As a black person all I can say after I read many of the comments below is that many black people (mostly men, is it a coincidence?) have learned absoluletly nothing with the history of racism and discrimination. Being black should make us suspicious of all the ways peolpe are constituted as different and how this creates and justifies unequalities. Let us just remember that race was once used for such a political purpose and gender and sexuality still are. I feel utterly embarrassed to see so much hate speach coming from black people.
@Libra_Strings9 жыл бұрын
Thiago Rocha You should be embarrassed about how Black men are portrayed. Obviously you've never lived, worked, or traveled abroad. People literally think Black people are JUST LIKE ON TV. This doesn't represent my husband, dad, future son, cousins, uncles or any other Black men in my family. To point this out isn't called hate. It's called a fact. If you want to do for Blacks stand up for the injustices, and stop being a coward downing us that oppose this representation of us. Speak for yourself at being Embarrassed. I'm proud to be a part of the STRAIGHT BLACK PRIDE movement. You should look at Irritated Genie if you want facts about this. Other than that, you are against us, not with us. Be ashamed as we are ashamed of spineless people like you!

L Thom Every portrayal of an African American does not have to represent someone you know, the purpose of this show is for the individuals to express themselves via dancing to a large audience via tv. Even if you expect portrayals of African Americans to represent them, these individuals do represent the flamboyant blacks, is their representation less valid than that of the "straight black male". Your opinion is indicative of internalized homophobia.

For some reason people who are living in sin or have a sinful nature, condemn those that are gay as if their sin is so much greater than theirs. Sin is sin and no sin is greater than the other. I look at it as no i do not agree with any one's sin, not even my own, but these guys have parents. Meaning these are somebody's children... Look at your own children and ask God to make the crooked things straight so we can have a better world and then you look at the man in the mirror.
@Nicolee77649 жыл бұрын
601kiki At least u sound rational and seem to understand that homosexuality is a sin. And, yes we all sin in different ways. However,most of the debates on the subject come from those who believe that homosexuality is right. They try to convince others that God approves of the lifestyle.
@Libra_Strings9 жыл бұрын
Sunkissed81 Whenever Gays are confronted with things, they like to say you hate them when you're just stating an opposing view. Obviously to be hetero means life, to be gays means the end of you on earth, no adoption can take the place of reproducing your own. The gays don't think about their parents who sacrificed for them...
@601kiki9 жыл бұрын
Some are just comfortable living in sin and some are still in darkness. All I can do is pray and ask God to show them just like he shows me. See living Christ like means you have to purge yourself daily of unclean things... It might be lustful thoughts, or having anger in your heart... Maybe depression. These are all things that distract us from keeping our focus on Christ even if it is just for a second. God is a forgiving God and HE loves all of us ... But HE don't love the sinful nature in us. I don't hate anyone... But know I will not cosign your sin! If you ever see me falling, speak HIS word into my life.
@dougavila4559 жыл бұрын
601kiki I agree with you 100% BUT the issue is they do see this as SIN. I love them and treat them with respect.
@IfIknewthen9 жыл бұрын
601kiki You make no sense....living in sin and having a sinful nature are two different things. Can never get rid of the sinful nature as long as we are living breathing human beings. Living in sin is a choice. Those that practice homosexuality choose to live in sin..you can't compare that to folks who try to live righteously. And even if they stumble along the way they ask God's forgives and get back up. So your comparison is way off.

I support this to the fullest and can't wait to watch the full episode. PEOPLE spread love and stop the hate regardless of your persona,l religious, or cultural beliefs its not right to hate people for being different. You don't have to agree or accept a different persons lifestyle that's your choice but you can respect the person and Black people stop tearing down each other this has nothing to do with making the Black community look bad what about those violent aggressive sexual hip hop videos where they use the N word and promote violence, degrade and exploit women Now that is what make the Black community look bad. Don't hate people because they don't comply with expected societal gender roles Don't hate people for simply being themselves majorette style and dancing should be inclusive to anyone and not just for women. The Black community is so far behind the White community when it comes to acceptance and inclusion of all To the Black community tearing down glbtq people want help the Black community it will hurt the Black community.
