The Prayer has been one of my favorite songs since I first heard it as a kid in "Quest for Camelot". Unfortunately I am apparently horribly picky and never liked a version other than the Celine Dion and Andre Bocelli version until now. This was absolutely breathtaking! I just melted into a puddle of goo, it was so beautiful. I would say I love this even more than the Dion/Bocelli one.

I first heard this song sung by Celine Dion in Quest for Camelot.. I loved the song then, and then Celine performed a duet with Andrea Bocelli, and it left me breathless. Peter, you and your beautiful wife have just rekindled that feeling with your rendition.

Thank you for this beautiful song. You sing so beautifully, and I was very touched by your cover. It has very special meaning to me. In December of 1999 I was 6 months pregnant and felt something was wrong. The doctor confirmed that our little girl had died. On the way home from the appointment, the radio was playing this song by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. It really touched me. It seemed like God was talking to me, and listening to the prayer that I was silently saying. It has been a favorite ever since. This past month my mother died. I was her main caregiver, and it has been hard. My son follows both of you and showed this to me a few days after the funeral and again it touched me and I knew that God was listening again to my prayers.
