Everyone says the sinopsis wrong, because the movie changed the story midway production;

I took a chance with my $20. Saw *"The Predator"* and it was...alright...okayish... Very, very fast paced. I did enjoy Boyd Holbrook (from "Logan"). The movie as a whole was just...randomly...complicated but it didn't take itself too too seriously (which isn't bad). I'd just kind got bored with it. It's not a movie I'd consider paying to see again like "Avengers: Infinity War" or "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" or buy on Blu-Ray for a home release but it's one of those films where you could watch on HBO late at night when nothing else is on.

I really miss your frequent commentary on movies and life...I really wish you'd post more often.

After seeing how bashed this movie got I went to this movie with no expectations 0 expectations but I’ll admit I enjoyed this movie

I'm glad you're back. You have a unique style that makes your reviews stand out. As for this movie...I wanted to love it. I really did. I actually did enjoy it and had fun with it, but that's because of how BAD it was. This really felt like something you would find on Saturday night on SyFy. The CGI looked absolutely awful at times. The practical effects (like the regular Predator) did look really good. I'll give them props for that. But this movie...it tried way too hard. Like -- WAY too hard. The jokes were sort of funny at times, but lots of them fell flat or made you cringe and feel guilty afterward if you laughed and realized just exactly what they were referencing. This movie should have been better, but the absolute worst call of this movie was the end. Nope. Just no. Any good this movie has is automatically ruined with what they did at the end of it. Good bye, Shane Black.

This film was confusing, but had some good parts... like when the predator breaks out of the lab and when the ultimate predator arrives, I’d give this film a D but it’s not as bad as ALIENS VS PREDATOR REQUIEM

This is like a Post Modern Predator movie. It's sad that this is the respect a studio has a for a beloved franchise.

Worth the wait, great review John, there's so many plot inconsistencies in this film it made my head hurt, dunno if it's Shane Bkack at fault or the studio interfering but what a mess & that ending didn't so much jump the shark but jump the meglodon.
