Make no mistake about it, Virgil Van Dijk is the Player of the Season to date. Not only has he won the most aerial duals than anyone else in the league, he’s also the only defender in the 4 big leagues not to be dribbled past. Simply astounding stats

@@charlesj14120 G/A in 26 games this season yet all are penalties sure thing. He has outperformed all arsenal man united Liverpool (except salah) he’s just in a worse team so no one jumps on it. Put those stats in any of their teams and they are crying for them to be in.

Klopp who finished outside the top 4 last year had his entire midfield replaced and now his then 5 clear, in the semi final of league cup, still in FA cup and hot favourites for Europa. Emery doing great but come on now

Embarrassing take. Wow Jurgen Klopp with the best winger in world football, one of the best CB,s in the league and the best RB in the league (according to Liverpool fans) and we are supposed to be shocked he is doing well. Really? He’s done well in a second rate European competition where every club they face they have outgunned on and off the pitch. And don’t try and rewrite history as if having his whole midfield rebuilt is a negative 😂😂 they were all finished and you spent millions to be up there again and we are supposed to be shocked when you are. Wow what a shock. Meanwhile Emery has picked up the second most points of ANY CLUB IN THE LEAGUE (behind only City) in 2023. With a Villa side who not long ago we’re 17th and in an absolute shambles of a state. We are just 5 points off you, also in Europe and also still in the FA Cup at the time of writing. And he’s done it with far far less individual talent (on paper) at his disposal. Emery would have Liverpool near enough where Klopp has them now if he was in charge. Klopp would absolutely not be able to do what Emery has done with this Villa side this season. The fact Emery after 21 games has us even in the conversation of the title race should say everything to any football fan with a brain. Simple.

Harry's argument about having to be clinical on Bowen's behalf falls apart when you consider he is using it to derank Son, when Son is the definition of clinical and always has been. Its "Not a Tottenham thing" yes it is.

Vicario has not done better than Alison this season. He's touted as the best gk so far because the bar for Spurs is set so low that any save he makes is recorded as outstanding

Neto, Jose Sa, Trafford, Flekken, Pickford, Leno and Kaminsky should be nominated for best GK in the league (not any Gk from top 6) because they play behind dogshit defenders

If Son played for anyone else apart from Spurs he'd be rated higher Hard to take people serious when they have anti Spurs bias, if you want to be objective then you should perhaps try not be so biased.

But you heard what Harry said, Bowen has had to be so clinical to get his goals, its not a Tottenham thing. Only problem is that Son's xG gap is the biggest in the league this year and over the last five seasons, he is the definition of clinical. So yeah, its a Tottenham thing Harry.

The Palmer disrespect continues, dont get me wrong i wouldnt put him ahead of Salah for this of course. However, to minimise his impact to scoring a couple of penalties shows you havent watched him and dont understand how good he has been. If Chelsea has good finishers Palmer would easily have 3+ more assists than he already does and he already has the 2nd most goal involvements of u21 players behind only Bellingham.
