It’s kinda funny that CJ’s first few days were kinda like Charlie’s (and I imagine every staff member at the White House). She’s thrown into this terrifying new position and is trying desperately not to look like she drowning, but she still does her job well and speaks truth to power, even if it might be detrimental to the President.

Josh and Sam were similarly fish-out-of-water-like, but at least they had played in national politics beforehand; this was (according to Toby) CJ’s first national campaign, she must have been scared shitless

The actual Oval Office isn't very big in real life. Jed Bartlet just happens to be abnormally short.

It's not. An extensive study even showed that the bias meant lots of innocent arrests and even if you don't care about that, it meant lots of wasted time dropping the charges or bullshit arraignments clogging up the system.
