And my best friend just told me that today he met a female elementary schoolmate of him for the first tme in 6 years. They messaged each other for only 3 days before this. When they said goodbye to eachother, after 2 hours of constant chatting and walking around, she kissed him on the cheek. I like this but the big problem I see happening with this keyboard is the acrylic getting heavily scratched and with the RGB it will make the scratches even more visible but it looks awesome. Personally I'm waiting on the ID67 I think

Hey Hipyo, I got the ID 80 transparent crystal because of you and I love the aesthetic and size of it. My only problem is the flex that the gasket mount is supposed to give. What is your gasket configuration, where did you put gaskets and remove gaskets? Also, I was given silicone/rubber gaskets. Not the black gasket that is usually seen in other boards and in your video. Any thoughts on that? Thanks a lot for your time and I love your vids!

The keyboard looks amazing I can't even say how gorgeous it is. Now onto some thoughts:) I don't really like that they did not expect that the foam is too thick and that the plate was pushed I really wish they will make it skinnier and it will be white without those lazer marks. The stabilizers would be nice to be Durock V2 but we can't get everything. Also I would love to see maybe a semitransparent acrylic that would diffuse the lightning under the keyboard I think it would make it really nice. Crystal Clear! imo, along the sides of the keyboard where the gaskets are don't look as clean since it kinda looks we see some of the adhesive for the gaskets. However I'm sure this issue wouldn't be a problem with the frosted version of the board. maybe they could use white foam instead to minimize this issue

Can confirm even to this date, the silicon feet are black The gaskets mounts are now silicon rather than foam There is no provided back foam anymore.

Plz review Akko CS switches as as budget switch. They are very cheap and they sound and feel better than Gateron Yellows (In my opinion). I have an rk61 which I modded heavily and hotswapped the switches for akko cs rose reds and they are very unknown, and I think they are great and I want to get your opinion on them for they are very cheap (10$ for 45 switches). If you do review these switches, there are a lot but he ones I am talking about are the Akko CS Rose Reds, the Akko CS Matcha Greens, and the Akko CS Ocean Blues. They all are great and feel and sound amazing from what I have heard, but the only ones that I have tested personally are the rose reds.

I wonder how a clear keyboard like this looks a year later, after months of lint, buiscuit crumbs and shame have fallen into the case between the keys.

Well, just wanted to say that I just got na e-mail that my ID80 Crystal has been shipped. Now I just need to wait 20-45 days!!!! 😭

nice board for sure.. was almost in. but when i saw it had no screw inserts it was an instant fail for me.. still looks good..actually happy that it failed in my book hahahha.. i'm already in for the Saka65 and the ikki68 .. hahah.. but i do like idobao store.. i don't know about their shipping to EU.. but in the old days KBDfans was great i could order from them and they would chip via their warehouse in the UK to me here in The Netherlands and i did not have to pay the extra 21% + 11% customs crap.. that's on top of the board + shipping so i'm paying that on the total value that adds up quickly..

The video and acrylic version are great! The smokey polycarbonate version is a bit ugly imo as the colour of the plate can be seen through the translucent case and gives a weird colour

What about the silicone gaskets?

The problem with this, is that the ID80 was positioned as a budget 75%. It could often be found for $110 on drop or on sale. Now the smoky acrylic will be $270... Meanwhile NK entry is $85 (while not having gasket mount), and gmmk will be releasing a cnc aluminum 75% with all these features and more, for $170... I think given how the market/competition is going, they completely missed the mark on pricing. Of course value is subjective, but not when your competitors will be releasing better built products for much less

this guy gets a 270 dollar keyboard case. I cant even get a 70 dollar keyboard

Why does it sound better without the foam? Resonance carries further with foam and somehow it's more deadened by lack of foam.. but higher pitched at the same time seems to be the tradeoff here.

I wish you would make a mod video for Crystal Clear cases. like how to to rid of the hollow sound with out taking a way it's clear. I do not want to seeing pillow inside or have there's some tape. i don't if it is possible.

Just wondering. Why do we care if the stabs are clear or smoky? You’ll literally never see them while using the keyboard. I get the keyboard thing mostly but not sure why everyone gets weird about colour of the internal pieces.
