This was the first time that a "3 Strikes" game might have only a dreadful one strike chip in the bag instead of three. I remember watching this game with all three strike chips and some people won during the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's when they played the game with all three strike chips. This lasted 16 years until they brought back the three strike chips during the Drew Carey period and back to the old rules.
