My Grandfather didn't like the show unless it had BOB BARKER. I watched it sometimes anyway, but Bob really carried the show that bit extra.

Bob should have sued Tom for stealing his voice.

Just to let everyone know The Price is Right had a prime-time version that lasted only a few years which is why Tom was the host. Also the rule for Punch-A-Bunch is that if one of your punches happens to be one of the two that has a $10,000 slip in it the game is automatically over and you win, it's an automatic win. Hence the intro being you could win UP to $10,000! Today it is up to $25,000 and I think there is only one slip that is $25K, but there are still two $10K slips. Unlike before, you could give up the $10K to go for the $25K, but you would be an idiot if you gave that up.

Great reaction she had towards winning that$10,000! I would have done the same thing except I would have ran around while screaming! Lol.😂Congratulations!

It's called Punch-a-bunch, not punchboard. thats just the name of the device that has all the little cubby holes and slips of money inside. the whole game is called punch-a-bunch

I love how excited Tom Kennedy would get when contestants won BIG. He'd really get into it. The perfect Switcheroo is another one where you can tell he's really excited for the contestant.

Tom Kennedy hosted the one season of nighttime versions from 1985-86. Dennis James, a game show pioneer, was nighttime host from '72-77 and filled in occasionally on daytime for Bob Barker. Bill Cullen hosted the orignail TPRIR from '56-65 on NBC and later ABC. Don Pardo was the announcer during the NBC run.

I like the way Diane caressed the prizes as she displays them.

Tom Kennedy hosted the nighttime version of the Price is Right in 1985 but it ended in 1986. Bob continued hosting the day time version during this time.
