(25 Oct 1956) The Royal Tour moved from Tanganyika to Kenya and Nairobi gave Princess Margaret a very warm welcome. Among many engagements, the inspection of Kenya coffee was an obvious priority. Kenya's industrial activity also received royal attention, when the Princess visited Nairobi's Railway Workshops. Kenya's agricultural progress was on view at the Royal Show in Mitchell Park. At the Civic Luncheon, at the Stanley Hotel, Her Royal Highness was received by the Mayor. Later she attended the Garden Party, where many tribal chiefs had the honour of presentation. The great social event of the Nairobi visit was the Dinner Party at Government House.

MAMBA BUSINESS She was scheduled to visit all British territory around the word. There was nothing special about her visit to Kenya. It became memorable because her father died while she was still in Kenya, thus making her the queen.

Yeah. The Mau Mau killed and butchered thousands of AFRICANS too. They didn't just kill the white man. They cut off the heads, the hands. They were brutal. To kids too! Horrible people. God Bless the loyal Kikuyu
