This is gunna be my "go-to" wrap. I have worn head coverings most of my life, just out of convenience and practicality. Only recently, have i considered the spiritual implications, and started thinking about it as a lifestyle choice. I've started binge-watching vids like this one, looking for a basic wrap that i could play with, and this is the one.

I am super excited to see you demonstrate how eyeglasses are part of the entire, overall look. Not many demonstrations included eyeglasses which is a bit of a struggle for me.

I love this tutorial! I study historical clothing and often use pins in my head wraps...I've always felt a little like I was cheating, so it's fun to see another "pinner":-) Thank you for sharing this! I can't wait to try it out!

I have a gorgeous glittery scarf I bought at the RenFaire here. I'm trying this wrap to go with a long drapey dress I've been wanting to wear. Beautiful.

I've pinned my wraps using sewing pins, especially if I'm making a band, a braid, a twist or a rope of my tails and have concerns that its weight will cause it to fall. I found that coordinating the color of the pins with the colors of the scarf tends to camouflage them beautifully. Alternatively, I've found that rhinestone pins can be used to give a crownlike or other decorative effect to the wrap. Pins come with plain colors, pearly ones, and sparkly ones in a rainbow of shades. Alternatively, if you don't want the pins to show you can hide them under the folds and twists of your wrap. The lovely princess wrap is a perfect place to use them.

Wondering what you're using under the tichel. It doesn't look like the shapers I've seen. Looks as if you got some volume from, perhaps, tying another scarf or some elastic head bands around your bun?

+towakeup We cannot answer for Samantha, but many women will wear an underscarf over their shaper to get the desired look to fit their personal preference. So sorry for the delayed response!

Hi there! No, you don't absolutely need a Shaper to wrap. But you will need a No-Slip Headband to hold your scarves on tight. Here's a link - wrapunzel.com/product-category/essential-tools/

There usually called shapers it just covers your hair if you have long hair you can put it in a bun then cover it's just makes it look smoother under the wrap it isn't really needed

Some women also don't have much hair either through short hair or not much hair due to medical reasons. In that case they need a shaper.
